- Power On: After connecting the appropriate power cable (AC or DC), locate the heating and cooling switch, typically found within the cord storage box. Toggle the switch to the desired mode.
- Cooling Mode: Select the 'Cool' setting. The thermoelectric system will begin to cool the interior. The unit can achieve temperatures approximately 62.6°F (17°C) below the ambient temperature. For optimal cooling, pre-chill items before placing them inside.
- Warming Mode: Select the 'Warm' setting. The unit will heat the interior, maintaining temperatures between 131°F (55°C) and 149°F (65°C). This is suitable for keeping cooked food warm.

- For warming, pre-heat the unit and its contents.
- Keep the lid closed as much as possible to maintain internal temperature.
