Setup Instructions

  1. Power Connection: Connect the provided 5V2A power supply to the KVM switch. Ensure a stable power source to prevent operational issues.
  2. Monitor Connection: Connect your two HDMI monitors to the "Output 1" and "Output 2" HDMI ports on the KVM switch.
  3. Computer Connection:
    • For PC1: Connect two HDMI cables from PC1's video outputs to "PC1 IN1" and "PC1 IN2" on the KVM switch. Also, connect one USB to Type-C cable from PC1's USB port to the "PC1 IN" USB-C port on the KVM switch.
    • For PC2: Connect two HDMI cables from PC2's video outputs to "PC2 IN1" and "PC2 IN2" on the KVM switch. Also, connect one USB to Type-C cable from PC2's USB port to the "PC2 IN" USB-C port on the KVM switch.

    Note: Each computer must support 2 screen or above display functions. Please make sure each computer/laptop has 2 HDMI cables and 1 USB TO TYPE-C cable connected to the KVM switch for full functionality.

  4. Peripheral Connection: Connect your USB keyboard and mouse to the designated USB 2.0 ports (labeled "Mouse" and "Hotkey") on the front panel. Connect any other USB 3.0 devices (e.g., U-disk, printer) to the USB 3.0 ports.
  5. Audio Connection: If desired, connect headphones or speakers to the 3.5mm audio output jack on the front panel.
  6. Display Settings: On your computers, ensure that the display mode is set to "Extend" mode for multi-monitor functionality. Please make sure the screen resolutions of both computers are the same, otherwise the monitor will not display the image correctly.

1. Hotkey Switching

Use keyboard hotkeys for quick switching. Ensure your keyboard and mouse are connected to the designated USB ports for hotkey functionality.

  • Switch to PC1: Press Ctrl + Shift + 1
  • Switch to PC2: Press Ctrl + Shift + 2
  • Enable/Disable Hotkey Function: Press Ctrl + Shift + K
  • Alternative Switch: Press Ctrl + Ctrl (double tap Ctrl key) to switch between PC1 and PC2.

Note: Please connect the Keyboard and Mouse to the designated USB port, otherwise the keyboard hotkey switching function will be lost.

2. Panel Button Switching

Press the "Switch" button located on the front panel of the KVM switch to toggle between PC1 and PC2. The status light will indicate which port is active.

3. Remote Control Switching

Use the included remote control for convenient switching from a distance (up to approximately 15 meters, unblocked). The remote control requires batteries (not included).

Display Methods

The KVM switch supports various display configurations for your dual monitors:

Copy Mode (1 Input to 2 Same Outputs)

In this mode, both monitors display the same content from a single computer. This is useful for mirroring your main screen.
