4. Setup

Initial Charging

Before first use, fully charge the AUTOONE JS02 Jump Starter using the provided USB Type-C Charging Cable. The device is designed for extended standby, boasting an impressive 24-month standby time, and automatically shuts down after 10 seconds of inactivity to conserve power.

Preparing for Use

Ensure the jump starter has at least 50% battery capacity before attempting to jump-start a vehicle. Store the device in its high-quality EVA protection case for easy transport and protection.

5. Operating Instructions

5.1. How to Jump Start Your Vehicle

1. Insert the Cable to the Starter: Connect the smart jumper cables into the jump starter's port.
2. Connect the Clamps to Battery Polarities: Attach the red clamp to the positive (+) terminal of the vehicle battery and the black clamp to the negative (-) terminal.
3. Wait for the Indicator to Turn Green: The indicator light on the smart jumper cable will turn green when the connection is correct and safe to proceed.
4. Start Engine: Start your vehicle. If the vehicle does not start immediately, wait for 1 minute before trying again. Do not attempt to jump-start more than 3 consecutive times.
5. Remove Clamps: Once the vehicle has started, remove the clamps from the battery terminals and then unplug the jumper cables from the jump starter.

5.2. Using as a Power Bank

The AUTOONE JS02 features USB-A and USB-C output ports, allowing you to charge various electronic devices such as mobile phones, tablets, and other USB-powered gadgets. Simply connect your device to the appropriate output port using a compatible charging cable.

5.3. Emergency LED Flashlight

The device includes an emergency LED flashlight with three modes: Flashlight, SOS, and Strobe. Press and hold the flashlight button to turn it on/off. Short press to cycle through the modes.

• SOS Mode: Flashes an SOS signal for emergencies.
• Strobe Mode: Provides a flashing light for warning or signaling.

• Smart clamp indicator not green: This indicates an incorrect connection or a safety issue. Disconnect and reconnect the clamps, ensuring correct polarity.
