Video 1: ANCHEER Gladiator Electric Bike Assembly Instruction. This video provides a detailed visual guide for assembling your electric bike, covering all the steps outlined below.
- Unboxing and Parts Check: Carefully unpack the bike and all components from the box. Ensure all parts listed in the packing list are present and undamaged.
- Kickstand Installation: Unscrew the bolts on the kickstand, align it with the mounting holes on the bike frame near the rear wheel, and then re-tighten the bolts securely using the provided tool.
- Stem and Handlebar Installation: Point the stem towards the front of the bike. Use the wrench from the toolkit to loosen the four screws on the stem. Place the handlebar into the handlebar mount, ensuring it is balanced, and then tighten the screws. Adjust the angle and position of the handlebar as needed for comfort.
- Saddle Tube and Reflector Assembly: Loosen the screws on the reflector and attach it to the seat tube. Insert the assembled seat post into the bike's seat post receiver. Adjust the seat height and angle to a comfortable riding position, then tighten the seat clamp securely.
- Front Disc Brake Installation: Loosen the two screws on the front fork where the disc brake caliper will be mounted. Install the disc brake caliper and then securely tighten the screws.
- Front Wheel Installation: Flip the bike upside down, resting it on the handlebars (use foam padding to protect components). Remove the protective pads from the front fork. Insert the front wheel between the front fork, ensuring the disc brake rotor aligns correctly with the caliper. Find the quick release skewer from the toolbox. Insert the quick release skewer through the wheel axle, screw the end nut, and close the quick release lever to secure the wheel.
- Front Wheel Rotation Check: After installing the front wheel, rotate it to ensure it spins smoothly without any rubbing. If the disc brake rubs, adjust the brake caliper until the wheel rotates freely.
- Meter, Bell, and Front Reflector Installation: Unscrew the meter's mounting screw, position the meter on the handlebar, and tighten it with the tool. Install the bell next to the meter, securing it firmly. Finally, install the front reflector on the handlebar using its screw.
- Headlight Installation: Mount the headlight onto the front fork using the provided screw. Connect the headlight's cable to the corresponding cable on the bike's wiring harness.
- Pedals Installation: Identify the left (L) and right (R) markings on the pedals. Counter-clockwise screw the pedal marked 'L' onto the left side crank arm. Clockwise screw the pedal marked 'R' onto the right side crank arm. Ensure the thread of each pedal is fully inserted into the crank arm and tighten them completely with a wrench.
- Battery Installation: Gently insert the battery into its holder on the bike frame. Press it down firmly until it clicks into place. Use the key to check whether the battery is tightly locked and secure.
3. Operating Your E-Bike
Your ANCHEER Electric Mountain Bike offers versatile riding modes and intuitive controls for an enhanced experience.
3.1 Power Modes
The bike supports four working modes: Throttle (e-bike), Pedal-Assist, Normal Bike, and Booster Mode. You can use pedal assist to glide uphill with ease, activate the throttle for a quick boost without pedaling, or turn off the power for traditional cycling. The booster mode (long press "-" on the display) provides assistance for easy pushing while walking.
3.2 Digital LCD Display

Figure 2: The intuitive digital LCD display provides key riding information.
The ABS 5-SPEED digital LCD display provides real-time information including battery level, current assist level (1-5), mileage, voltage, and speed. This allows you to monitor your ride statistics with ease.
3.3 Cruise Control
For sustained speeds, the cruise control feature can be activated. When your speed is not less than 6mph, long press the "-" button on the display. The bike will enter an automatic cruise state, maintaining the current speed without throttle input. To cancel cruise control, simply apply the brakes or twist the gas pedal again. Always pay attention to road conditions when using cruise control.
4. Maintenance
Regular maintenance is crucial for the longevity and performance of your electric bike. Perform the following checks and tasks regularly:
- Cleaning: Regularly clean your bike with a damp cloth. Avoid high-pressure washing directly on electrical components.
- Tire Pressure: Check tire pressure before each ride. Maintain recommended PSI levels for optimal performance and safety.
- Brake Inspection: Periodically inspect brake pads and rotors for wear. Ensure brake levers engage smoothly and provide adequate stopping power.
- Chain Lubrication: Keep the chain clean and lubricated to ensure smooth gear changes and prevent rust.
- Battery Care: Store the battery in a cool, dry place. Avoid fully discharging the battery and charge it regularly, even when not in use, to prolong its lifespan.
5. Troubleshooting
If you encounter issues with your ANCHEER Electric Mountain Bike, refer to the common troubleshooting tips below. For persistent problems, contact customer support.
- No Power: Ensure the battery is fully charged and securely locked into the frame. Check all cable connections for looseness.
- Brakes Squealing/Rubbing: Inspect brake pads for wear and ensure they are properly aligned with the rotors. Adjust the brake caliper if necessary (refer to Setup section).
- Motor Not Assisting: Verify that the pedal-assist level is set above zero on the LCD display. Check for any error codes on the display.
- Gears Not Shifting Smoothly: Inspect the derailleur for proper alignment and ensure the chain is clean and lubricated.
