4. Setup and Installation
Proper installation is crucial for the safe and optimal performance of your induction cooktop. It is recommended that installation be performed by a qualified electrician or technician.
Unpacking:
- Carefully remove the cooktop from its packaging.
- Inspect the appliance for any signs of damage. Do not install if damaged.
- Ensure all components listed in the 'What's in the Box' section are present.
Countertop Preparation:
- Ensure the countertop material is heat-resistant.
- Cut an opening in the countertop according to the dimensions provided in the specifications section. Ensure sufficient clearance for ventilation.
Electrical Connection:
The cooktop requires a dedicated electrical circuit. Refer to the wiring diagram below for correct connection. If you are unsure, consult a qualified electrician.

5. Operating Instructions
Turning On/Off:
- Press the ON/OFF button to turn the cooktop on. The indicators will light up.
- Press the ON/OFF button again to turn the cooktop off.
Selecting a Cooking Zone and Adjusting Power:
- Place suitable cookware on the desired cooking zone.
- Select the cooking zone by touching its corresponding control.
- Use the circular touch control to adjust the power level from P1 (low) to P9 (high).
Using the Dual Flexible Zone:
- To activate the flexible zone, select one of the two zones that form the flexible area.
- The cooktop will automatically detect the size and position of the cookware within this combined zone.
Power Booster Function:
- Select a cooking zone.
- Press the Booster button (B) to activate maximum power for rapid heating.
- The Booster function will automatically deactivate after a set period or when the temperature reaches a certain point.
Timer Control:
- Select the cooking zone for which you want to set a timer.
- Press the Timer button (T) and use the +/- controls to set the desired cooking time.
- The cooktop will automatically turn off the selected zone when the timer expires.
Safety Lock:
- To activate the safety lock, press and hold the lock button (key icon) for a few seconds until the indicator lights up.
- To deactivate, press and hold the lock button again until the indicator turns off.
Compatible Cookware:
Induction cooktops require cookware with a magnetic base. The following types of cookware are generally compatible:
- Stainless steel with a magnetic bottom
- Magnetic pots and pans
- Cast iron pans and woks
Incompatible cookware includes enamel, copper/aluminum, ceramic, and glass without a magnetic base.
