1. Introduction

Thank you for purchasing the COOK WITH COLOR 350W Electric Egg Cooker. This appliance is designed to simplify your egg preparation, allowing you to cook up to 7 eggs to your desired consistency, or prepare poached eggs and omelettes with ease. Please read this manual thoroughly before first use to ensure safe and efficient operation.

Important Safety Instructions

  • Read all instructions before operating the appliance.
  • Do not touch hot surfaces. Use handles or knobs.
  • To protect against electrical shock, do not immerse the cord, plugs, or the base unit in water or other liquid.
  • Close supervision is necessary when any appliance is used by or near children.
  • Unplug from outlet when not in use and before cleaning. Allow to cool before putting on or taking off parts.
  • Do not operate any appliance with a damaged cord or plug, or after the appliance malfunctions or has been damaged in any manner.

2. Product Components

3. Setup and First Use

  1. Unpack all components from the packaging.
  2. Wash the lid, egg rack, poaching tray, omelette tray, and measuring cup in warm, soapy water. Rinse thoroughly and dry completely.
  3. Wipe the exterior of the base unit with a damp cloth. Do not immerse the base unit in water or any other liquid.
  4. Place the egg cooker on a stable, level, and heat-resistant surface, away from walls or cabinets to allow for proper steam ventilation.

4. Operating Instructions

4.1. Cooking Boiled Eggs (Soft, Medium, Hard)

  1. Using the provided measuring cup, fill with cold water to the desired marking for Soft, Medium, or Hard-boiled eggs.
  2. Pour the measured water directly onto the stainless steel heating plate of the base unit.
  3. Using the piercing pin located at the bottom of the measuring cup, gently pierce the large end of each egg. This helps prevent cracking during cooking.
  4. Place the egg rack onto the base unit.
  5. Carefully place up to 7 pierced eggs onto the egg rack, with the pierced end facing upwards.
  6. Cover the egg cooker with the lid, ensuring it is seated properly.
  7. Plug the appliance into a standard electrical outlet.
  8. Press the power button to start cooking. The indicator light will illuminate.
  9. The egg cooker will automatically shut off when all the water has evaporated, and the indicator light will turn off.
  10. Carefully remove the lid (be aware of hot steam).
  11. Using oven mitts or tongs, carefully remove the egg rack with the cooked eggs.
  12. For best results and easier peeling, immediately rinse the eggs under cold running water or place them in an ice bath to stop the cooking process.

4.2. Cooking Poached Eggs

  1. Fill the measuring cup with cold water to the "Poached" marking.
  2. Pour the measured water onto the heating plate.
  3. Lightly grease the poaching tray with cooking spray or a small amount of butter.
  4. Crack one egg into each section of the poaching tray.
  5. Place the poaching tray onto the egg rack, then place the assembled rack onto the base unit.
  6. Cover with the lid and plug in the appliance.
  7. Press the power button. The cooker will automatically shut off when done.
  8. Carefully remove the lid and poaching tray.

4.3. Cooking Omelettes or Steaming Vegetables

  1. Fill the measuring cup with cold water to the "Omelette" marking.
  2. Pour the measured water onto the heating plate.
  3. For omelettes: Lightly grease the omelette tray. Whisk up to 2 eggs with your desired ingredients (e.g., cheese, finely chopped vegetables) and pour into the omelette tray.
  4. For steaming vegetables: Place 1-2 servings of chopped fresh vegetables (e.g., broccoli, carrots, cauliflower) into the omelette tray.
  5. Place the omelette tray onto the egg rack, then place the assembled rack onto the base unit.
  6. Cover with the lid and plug in the appliance.
  7. Press the power button. The cooker will automatically shut off when done.
  8. Carefully remove the lid and omelette tray.

5. Cleaning and Maintenance

  1. Always unplug the egg cooker from the power outlet and allow it to cool completely before cleaning.
  2. Wash the lid, egg rack, poaching tray, omelette tray, and measuring cup in warm, soapy water. Rinse thoroughly and dry. These parts are generally top-rack dishwasher safe, but hand washing is recommended for optimal care.
  3. Wipe the heating plate and the exterior of the base unit with a damp cloth.
  4. Removing Mineral Deposits: Over time, mineral deposits may accumulate on the heating plate. To remove these, pour a solution of 1 part white vinegar to 2 parts water onto the heating plate. Let it sit for 5-10 minutes, then wipe clean with a damp cloth. Do not use abrasive cleaners, scouring pads, or metal utensils, as these can damage the non-stick surface.
  5. Ensure all parts are completely dry before reassembling or storing the appliance.
  6. Store the egg cooker in a cool, dry place.
