Setup

  1. Unpacking: Carefully remove all packaging materials from the air fryer. Ensure all components are present and undamaged.
  2. Initial Cleaning: Before first use, clean the cooking basket and any removable accessories with warm soapy water. Wipe the interior and exterior of the main unit with a damp cloth. Dry all parts thoroughly.
  3. Placement: Place the air fryer on a stable, heat-resistant surface, away from walls and other appliances, ensuring at least 10 cm (4 inches) of clear space around the unit for proper ventilation.
  4. Power Connection: Plug the power cord into a grounded 240V electrical outlet.
  5. Preheating (Optional but Recommended): For the first use, it is recommended to run the air fryer empty for about 10-15 minutes at 180°C (350°F) to burn off any manufacturing residues. A slight odor may be present, which is normal.

Operating Instructions

  1. Prepare Food: Place your ingredients into the 7.5-liter cooking basket. Do not overfill the basket to ensure even cooking.
  2. Insert Basket: Slide the cooking basket firmly back into the main unit until it clicks into place.
  3. Power On: Plug the appliance into the wall socket. The display will illuminate.
  4. Set Temperature and Time:
    • Use the temperature controls (usually '+' and '-' buttons) to set the desired cooking temperature.
    • Use the timer controls (usually '+' and '-' buttons) to set the desired cooking time.
  5. Start Cooking: Press the start button (often a power icon or play symbol) to begin the cooking process.
  6. Shaking/Flipping (Optional): For some foods, it is recommended to shake or flip the contents of the basket halfway through the cooking time. To do this, carefully pull out the basket, shake or flip the food, and then reinsert the basket. The air fryer will resume cooking automatically.
  7. End of Cooking: The air fryer will beep when the set cooking time has elapsed. Carefully pull out the basket and transfer the cooked food to a plate.
  8. Power Off: Unplug the appliance from the wall socket after use.

Cooking Tips:

  • Smaller ingredients usually require a shorter cooking time than larger ingredients.
  • A small amount of oil can be added to fresh potatoes for a crispier result.
  • Pre-packaged frozen foods often cook well in an air fryer without additional oil.
  • For best results, avoid overcrowding the basket. Cook in batches if necessary.

Cleaning and Maintenance

Regular cleaning ensures optimal performance and extends the lifespan of your air fryer.

  1. Before Cleaning: Always unplug the air fryer and allow it to cool completely before cleaning.
  2. Cooking Basket: The cooking basket can be washed with warm soapy water and a non-abrasive sponge. For stubborn food residues, soak the basket in warm water for about 10-15 minutes before cleaning. Rinse thoroughly and dry.
  3. Interior: Wipe the interior of the air fryer with a damp cloth. For heavy grease, use a mild detergent. Avoid abrasive cleaners or scouring pads.
  4. Exterior: Clean the exterior of the appliance with a soft, damp cloth. Do not immerse the main unit in water or any other liquid.
  5. Heating Element: If necessary, gently clean the heating element with a soft brush to remove any food particles. Ensure the appliance is completely cool and unplugged.
  6. Storage: Store the cleaned and dried air fryer in a cool, dry place.
