Product Overview

The Raddy DT6 is a versatile weather station designed to provide essential indoor and outdoor environmental data. It features a color display, DCF radio clock, thermometer, hygrometer, and barometer, offering real-time weather forecasts and comfort indicators.

Setup Guide

1. Unpacking and Powering On

  1. Carefully remove all components from the packaging.
  2. The DT6 console is powered by a wired electric connection (USB cable included). Connect the USB cable to the console and a suitable power adapter (not included).
  3. The wireless outdoor sensor requires batteries (not included). Insert 2x AAA batteries into the sensor, ensuring correct polarity.

2. Sensor Placement

Place the outdoor sensor in a shaded, dry location away from direct sunlight and precipitation to ensure accurate readings. The transmission range is up to 330 feet (100 meters) in open air.

3. Initial Synchronization

  • Once both units are powered, the main console will automatically search for the outdoor sensor. This may take a few minutes.
  • If synchronization fails, press and hold the 'CHANNEL' button on the main unit to initiate a manual search.
  • The DT6 supports up to 3 remote sensors. The display will automatically cycle through channels every 5 seconds if multiple sensors are connected.

Operating Instructions

Display Layout

The color display provides a clear overview of all weather data and time information. Refer to the image below for a detailed breakdown of the display sections.

Time and Date Setting

  • The DT6 automatically synchronizes with the DCF radio signal for accurate timekeeping.
  • To manually set the time or date, press and hold the 'SET' button. Use the '+' and '-' buttons to adjust values and 'SET' to confirm.
  • The week can be displayed in 7 different languages.

Weather Forecast

The station provides a 12-hour weather forecast based on barometric pressure changes. Icons indicate sunny, partly cloudy, cloudy, rainy, or snowy conditions.

Temperature and Humidity Monitoring

  • View current indoor and outdoor temperature and humidity.
  • The display shows trends for temperature, humidity, and barometric pressure.
  • Set customizable high/low temperature alerts for outdoor readings.
  • Access maximum and minimum recorded temperature and humidity values.

Comfort Level and Ventilation

An integrated comfort indicator displays 5 levels of humidity, helping you maintain an optimal indoor environment. Ventilation reminders suggest when to open or close windows.

Alarm Clock Function

The DT6 includes a dual alarm clock feature, allowing you to set separate alarms for weekdays and weekends. A snooze function is also available.

Adjustable Backlight

The display backlight can be adjusted to 4 different brightness levels for optimal visibility in various lighting conditions. Tap the designated button to activate or cycle through brightness settings.

Control Buttons

The control buttons are located on the back of the main unit for easy operation and setting adjustments.

Maintenance

  • Cleaning: Wipe the display and unit surfaces with a soft, dry cloth. Avoid abrasive cleaners or solvents.
  • Battery Replacement: The outdoor sensor will indicate a low battery warning on the main display. Replace batteries promptly to ensure continuous operation.
  • Storage: If storing the device for an extended period, remove batteries from the outdoor sensor.

Troubleshooting
