3. Watch Components

4. Setup Instructions

4.1 Setting Time and Date

1. From the normal time display, press the MODE button three times to enter time setting mode. The seconds will start flashing.
2. Press the RESET button to set the seconds to zero.
3. Press the START button to move to the next setting (hours).
4. Press the RESET button to adjust the hours. Pay attention to AM/PM for 12-hour format.
5. Continue pressing START to cycle through minutes, month, date, and day of the week.
6. Use the RESET button to adjust each value.
7. Once all settings are correct, press the MODE button to exit setting mode and return to the normal time display.

4.2 Setting the Alarm

1. From the normal time display, press the MODE button twice to enter alarm setting mode. The hour digits will flash.
2. Press the RESET button to adjust the alarm hour.
3. Press the START button to move to the alarm minutes.
4. Press the RESET button to adjust the alarm minutes.
5. Press the MODE button to exit alarm setting mode.
6. To turn the alarm ON/OFF, press and hold the RESET button, then press the START button. An alarm icon will appear/disappear.

4.3 Using the Stopwatch

1. From the normal time display, press the MODE button once to enter stopwatch mode. The display will show "0:00:00".
2. Press the START button to begin timing.
3. Press the START button again to pause timing.
4. Press the RESET button to reset the stopwatch to "0:00:00".
5. To return to normal time display, press the MODE button.

5. Operating the Watch

5.1 Using the Backlight

Press the LIGHT button (top-left) to activate the 7-color LED backlight. The light will stay on for a few seconds, making the display visible in low-light conditions.

5.2 Switching 12/24 Hour Format

In normal time display, press the RESET button to toggle between 12-hour (AM/PM) and 24-hour (military) time formats.

6. Maintenance

6.1 Water Resistance

The Edillas Digital Watch is 50M water resistant. This means it can withstand splashes, rain, and brief immersion in water, such as during hand washing or swimming. Do not press any buttons while the watch is wet or submerged. Avoid hot water, saunas, or diving, as this can compromise the water resistance.

6.2 General Care

• Clean the watch regularly with a soft, dry cloth.
• Avoid exposing the watch to extreme temperatures or strong magnetic fields.

• Store the watch in a cool, dry place when not in use.

7. Troubleshooting

• Time keeps changing by accident: Ensure buttons are not accidentally pressed during wear or activity. Review the time setting instructions to re-adjust if needed.
• Alarm chime cannot be disabled: Refer to section 4.2 "Setting the Alarm" to properly turn the alarm ON/OFF. Ensure the alarm icon is not displayed if you wish for the alarm to be off.
