• Power Button: Turns the unit on or off.

Setup

Powering the Boombox

The KLIM B3 can be powered using the included AC power cord or with 4 C-size batteries (not included).

AC Power

1. Insert the AC power cord into the AC IN jack located at the back of the boombox.
2. Plug the other end of the AC power cord into a standard wall outlet (100-240 VAC, 50/60 Hz).

Battery Power

1. Open the battery compartment cover on the bottom of the boombox.
2. Insert 4 C-size (R14) dry batteries, ensuring correct polarity (+/-).
3. Close the battery compartment cover securely.
4. Note: For optimal performance, use alkaline batteries. Remove batteries if the unit will not be used for an extended period.

Initial Use - CD Player Preparation

Before playing a CD for the first time, it is crucial to remove the protective cardboard from the CD lens. This cardboard is inserted during manufacturing to prevent damage during transit.

1. Gently open the CD compartment lid on top of the boombox.
2. Carefully locate and remove any protective cardboard or foam covering the CD lens.
3. Close the CD compartment lid.

Operating Instructions

Power On/Off

Press the Power button on the front panel briefly to turn the unit on or off. The LCD display will illuminate when the unit is powered on.

Selecting a Mode

Press the Mode button repeatedly to cycle through the available playback options: CD, FM Radio, Bluetooth, USB, and AUX.

Volume Adjustment

Use the Volume - and Volume + buttons to decrease or increase the audio output level.

Equalizer (EQ) Settings

Press the EQ button to select from five preset sound modes: FLAT, CLASSICAL, JAZZ, ROCK, and POP. This allows you to customize the audio profile to your preference.

CD Playback

1. Ensure the protective cardboard has been removed from the CD lens (refer to Setup section).
2. Open the CD compartment lid.
3. Place a CD (CD, CD-R/RW, HDCD, WMA, MP3 CD, or audiobook CD) onto the spindle with the label side facing up.
4. Close the CD compartment lid. The unit will read the disc, and the track number will appear on the display.
5. Press the Play/Pause button to start playback.
6. Press ▶▶ to skip to the next track, or ◀◀ to go to the beginning of the current track or the previous track.
7. Press the Repeat button to cycle through repeat options (e.g., repeat one track, repeat all tracks).

FM Radio Operation

1. Extend the FM antenna for optimal reception.
2. Press the Mode button until "FM" appears on the display.
3. Automatic Scan and Save: Press and hold the P+/SCAN button. The radio will automatically scan for available stations and save them as presets (up to 20 stations).
4. Manual Tuning: Briefly press ◀◀ or ▶▶ to fine-tune the frequency.
5. Selecting Presets: Briefly press the P+/SCAN button to cycle through saved preset stations.

Bluetooth Pairing and Playback

1. Press the Mode button until "BT" or "Bluetooth" appears on the display. The unit will enter pairing mode, indicated by a flashing Bluetooth icon or similar indicator.
2. On your Bluetooth-enabled device (e.g., smartphone, tablet), enable Bluetooth and search for available devices.
3. Select "KLIM B3" from the list of devices. Once paired, a confirmation sound may play, and the Bluetooth indicator on the boombox will become solid.
4. Start playing audio on your connected device. The sound will be streamed through the boombox.

USB Playback

1. Insert a USB flash drive into the USB port on the front panel.
2. Press the Mode button until "USB" appears on the display. The unit will automatically begin playing audio files from the USB drive.
3. Use the Play/Pause and Skip buttons to control playback.

AUX Input

1. Connect one end of a 3.5mm audio cable (not included) to the AUX IN port on the front panel of the boombox.
2. Connect the other end of the cable to the headphone jack or audio output of your external audio device (e.g., MP3 player, smartphone).
3. Press the Mode button until "AUX" appears on the display.
4. Start playing audio on your external device. The sound will be routed through the boombox.
5. Control playback (play/pause, skip) directly from your external device. Volume can be adjusted on both the boombox and the external device.

• Wipe the exterior of the unit with a soft, dry cloth.
• Do not use abrasive cleaners, waxes, or solvents as they may damage the finish.
