5.1 Resin Application

5.2 Setting the Crystals

Place the filled molds in direct sunlight for a few minutes to allow the resin to set and harden. Setting time may vary based on sunlight intensity and temperature.

5.3 Demolding and Assembly

Once the resin is fully set and hardened, gently pop the crystal shapes out of their molds. Snap these crystals into the corresponding accessory hardware (e.g., sunglasses, earrings, purse, headband, or ring). If needed, a small amount of resin can be used as an adhesive to secure the crystal to the accessory hardware.

6. Care and Maintenance

6.1 Doll Hair Care

Use the included comb to gently style the doll's hair. Avoid harsh brushing or excessive pulling to prevent tangling or damage. For best results, dampen the hair slightly before combing if it becomes matted.

6.2 Accessory Care

Store resin accessories in a cool, dry place away from direct sunlight when not in use to maintain their clarity and prevent discoloration. Avoid exposing them to extreme temperatures.

6.3 Cleaning

Wipe the doll and accessories with a soft, damp cloth as needed. Do not immerse the doll or resin accessories in water for extended periods.

7. Troubleshooting

7.1 Resin Not Setting

  • Ensure molds are placed in direct sunlight for the recommended duration. Setting time may vary based on sunlight intensity and weather conditions.
  • Verify that the resin bottle was properly sealed when not in use to prevent premature hardening or degradation.

7.2 Difficulty Removing Crystals from Molds

  • Allow additional time for the resin to fully harden. Attempt removal only when the crystal is firm and non-tacky.
  • Gently flex the mold to help release the crystal. Do not force it, as this may damage the crystal or the mold.
