Setup and First Use
1. Unpacking
- Carefully remove all packaging materials and protective films from the machine.
- Check that all accessories are present: filter holder, measuring spoon, and two filters (for 1 and 2 cups).
- Inspect the machine for any damage. Do not use if damaged.
2. Placement
- Place the machine on a dry, stable, and level surface.
- Ensure there is adequate space around the machine for ventilation and access to the water tank and steam wand.

3. Initial Cleaning
- Wash the water tank, filter holder, filters, and measuring spoon with warm water and a mild detergent. Rinse thoroughly and dry.

4. Filling the Water Tank
- Remove the 1.5 L water tank from the back of the machine.
- Fill the tank with fresh, cold drinking water up to the MAX level indicator.

5. Priming the Pump (First Use)
- Ensure the water tank is filled.
- Place a cup under the coffee outlet and another under the steam wand.
- Plug the machine into a grounded power outlet. Press the ON/OFF switch. The indicator light will illuminate.
- Wait for the machine to heat up (indicator light may flash or change color).
- Turn the steam/hot water knob to the hot water position to dispense water through the steam wand for about 30 seconds. This primes the pump and flushes the system.
- Turn the knob back to the OFF position.
- Press the coffee button to dispense water through the coffee outlet for about 30 seconds.
- The machine is now ready for use.
Operating Instructions
1. Making Espresso
- Ensure the water tank is filled and the machine is preheated.
- Select the desired filter (1-cup or 2-cup) and place it into the filter holder.
- Using the measuring spoon, add finely ground espresso coffee to the filter. For a single shot, use one level spoon; for a double shot, use two.
- Tamp the coffee grounds firmly and evenly. Wipe any excess grounds from the rim of the filter holder.
- Attach the filter holder to the brewing head by aligning it and twisting firmly to the right until it locks into place.
- Place one or two preheated cups on the drip tray directly under the coffee outlets.
- Press the appropriate coffee button (single or double espresso, if available, or the general coffee button). The machine will begin the pre-infusion process, then brew the espresso.
- Once the desired amount of espresso is brewed, the machine may stop automatically, or you may need to press the button again to stop it manually.
- Carefully remove the filter holder by twisting it to the left. Dispose of the used coffee grounds.

2. Frothing Milk for Cappuccino/Latte
- Ensure the machine is preheated and the water tank is filled.
- Fill a stainless steel frothing pitcher with cold milk (dairy or non-dairy) up to about one-third full.
- Position the steam wand over the drip tray and open the steam/hot water knob briefly to purge any condensed water. Close the knob.
- Submerge the tip of the steam wand just below the surface of the milk.
- Open the steam/hot water knob to release steam. Move the pitcher up and down slightly to create foam.
- Once the milk has reached the desired temperature and consistency, close the steam/hot water knob and remove the pitcher.
- Immediately wipe the steam wand with a damp cloth to prevent milk residue from drying.
- Pour the frothed milk over your freshly brewed espresso to create a cappuccino or latte.

3. Dispensing Hot Water
- Ensure the machine is preheated and the water tank is filled.
- Place a cup under the steam wand.
- Turn the steam/hot water knob to the hot water position. Hot water will dispense from the steam wand.
- Turn the knob back to the OFF position when the desired amount of hot water is dispensed.
