Setup and First Use

1. Unpacking

1. Carefully remove all packaging materials and protective films from the machine.

2. Placement

• Place the machine on a dry, stable, and level surface.

3. Initial Cleaning

4. Filling the Water Tank

1. Remove the 1.5 L water tank from the back of the machine.
2. Fill the tank with fresh, cold drinking water up to the MAX level indicator.

5. Priming the Pump (First Use)

1. Ensure the water tank is filled.
2. Place a cup under the coffee outlet and another under the steam wand.
3. Plug the machine into a grounded power outlet. Press the ON/OFF switch. The indicator light will illuminate.
4. Wait for the machine to heat up (indicator light may flash or change color).
5. Turn the steam/hot water knob to the hot water position to dispense water through the steam wand for about 30 seconds. This primes the pump and flushes the system.
6. Turn the knob back to the OFF position.
7. Press the coffee button to dispense water through the coffee outlet for about 30 seconds.

Operating Instructions

1. Making Espresso

1. Ensure the water tank is filled and the machine is preheated.

3. Using the measuring spoon, add finely ground espresso coffee to the filter. For a single shot, use one level spoon; for a double shot, use two.
4. Tamp the coffee grounds firmly and evenly. Wipe any excess grounds from the rim of the filter holder.
5. Attach the filter holder to the brewing head by aligning it and twisting firmly to the right until it locks into place.
6. Place one or two preheated cups on the drip tray directly under the coffee outlets.
7. Press the appropriate coffee button (single or double espresso, if available, or the general coffee button). The machine will begin the pre-infusion process, then brew the espresso.
8. Once the desired amount of espresso is brewed, the machine may stop automatically, or you may need to press the button again to stop it manually.
9. Carefully remove the filter holder by twisting it to the left. Dispose of the used coffee grounds.

2. Frothing Milk for Cappuccino/Latte

1. Ensure the machine is preheated and the water tank is filled.
2. Fill a stainless steel frothing pitcher with cold milk (dairy or non-dairy) up to about one-third full.
3. Position the steam wand over the drip tray and open the steam/hot water knob briefly to purge any condensed water. Close the knob.
4. Submerge the tip of the steam wand just below the surface of the milk.
5. Open the steam/hot water knob to release steam. Move the pitcher up and down slightly to create foam.
6. Once the milk has reached the desired temperature and consistency, close the steam/hot water knob and remove the pitcher.
7. Immediately wipe the steam wand with a damp cloth to prevent milk residue from drying.
8. Pour the frothed milk over your freshly brewed espresso to create a cappuccino or latte.

3. Dispensing Hot Water

• Ensure the machine is preheated and the water tank is filled.
• Place a cup under the steam wand.
