Important Safety Instructions

To reduce the risk of fire, electric shock, or injury, always follow these basic safety precautions:

  • Read all instructions before using the appliance.
  • Ensure the power pod is installed correctly; the motor will only operate when properly secured.
  • Always remove the blade protection carefully before installing the blades. Blades are sharp; handle with extreme caution.
  • Do not process flour, frozen food, or ice.
  • Each processing cycle should not exceed 30 seconds. To prevent overheating, allow the motor to rest for 20 seconds between cycles, especially when processing large amounts of food.
  • If the motor stops due to overheating, unplug the unit and wait 20 minutes before resuming operation.
  • If the motor runs but the blades do not rotate, reduce the amount of food in the bowl and reprocess.
  • To prevent warping of lids or bowls, ensure dishwasher temperature is less than 140℉ (60℃). The power head is not dishwasher safe.
  • Keep hands and utensils away from moving blades during operation to prevent injury.

Assembling your KOIOS Food Processor is quick and straightforward:

  1. Prepare the Blades: Carefully twist the bottom blade to assemble it with the top blade if they are separated. Ensure blade protectors are removed before use.

  3. Insert Blades: Carefully place the assembled S-shaped bi-level blades onto the central shaft inside the bowl.
  4. Add Ingredients: Add your desired ingredients into the bowl. Do not overfill; ensure ingredients are cut into small pieces before processing for best results.
  5. Secure the Lid: Place the translucent lid onto the bowl, ensuring it clicks smoothly into position.
  6. Attach Power Pod: Place the 500W Power Pod (motor unit) onto the lid. The hidden safety switch will ensure the unit only operates when the power pod is correctly seated.

Operating Instructions

The KOIOS Food Processor features two speed modes for optimal control:

  • Speed II (Turbo Chopping): Suitable for harder foods such as meat, carrots, or nuts. Press and hold the button marked "II" on the power pod for a more powerful, rapid chop.
