Setup

1. Inserting the Memory Card

4. To remove, gently push the card in until it springs out.

2. Mounting the Dash Cam

1. Clean the windshield area where you intend to mount the dash cam.
2. Attach the suction cup mount or adhesive mount (if included) to the dash cam's mounting slot.
3. Press the mount firmly onto the windshield, ensuring it does not obstruct your view.
4. Adjust the angle of the dash cam to ensure the front lens captures the road clearly and the interior lens captures the cabin.

3. Connecting Power

You have two options for powering your M5 Dash Cam:

Option A: USB C Power Cable (Recommended for USB-equipped vehicles)

1. Connect the USB-C end of the cable to the dash cam's USB-C port.
2. Connect the USB-A end of the cable to an available USB power port in your vehicle.
3. Route the cable neatly along the windshield trim to avoid interference.

Option B: Hardwire Kit (For continuous power and parking monitoring)

2. Ensure the hardwire kit is connected to a constant power source and an accessory power source (ACC) for proper parking mode functionality.

4. Installing the Rear Camera (if applicable)

Operating Instructions

1. Powering On/Off

• Automatic Power: The dash cam will automatically power on and begin recording when connected to power and the vehicle's ignition is turned on.
• Manual Power On/Off: Press and hold the Power button for 3 seconds to manually turn the device on or off.

2. Recording Modes

• Loop Recording: The dash cam continuously records video in short segments (e.g., 1, 3, or 5 minutes). When the memory card is full, the oldest unlocked files are overwritten.
• Emergency Recording (G-Sensor): In the event of a sudden impact or collision, the built-in G-sensor will automatically lock the current video segment, preventing it from being overwritten by loop recording.
• Parking Monitoring: If the hardwire kit is installed, the dash cam can monitor your vehicle while parked. It will automatically record if motion or impact is detected.

3. Menu Settings

Access the menu by pressing the Menu button (if available) or navigating through the display. Common settings include:
