Safety Instructions

WARNING: To reduce the risk of fire, electric shock, or personal injury, always follow these safety guidelines:

• Ensure the main power supply is disconnected before installation or maintenance.
• Installation must be performed by a qualified electrician in accordance with local wiring regulations.
• The mounting structure must be capable of supporting the fan's weight (approximately 4.71 kg).
• Ensure the fan blades are at least 2.3 meters (7.5 feet) above the floor.
• Do not insert objects into the path of the rotating blades.
• This appliance is for indoor use only (IP20).
• Use only the remote control provided with the fan.

Setup and Installation

Note: Installation should be performed by a qualified electrician.

1. Prepare for Installation:
   • Turn off power at the circuit breaker.
   • Ensure the mounting location is structurally sound and can support the fan's weight.
2. Install Mounting Bracket:
   • Secure the mounting bracket to the ceiling junction box using appropriate screws and washers.
3. Assemble Fan Blades:
   • Attach the three wooden blades to the motor housing using the provided screws. Ensure they are securely fastened.

4. Wire the Fan:
   • Connect the fan's electrical wires to the household wiring according to the wiring diagram in the separate electrical guide (if provided) or standard electrical codes. Ensure all connections are secure.
   • The fan operates on 230V.
5. Mount the Fan:

6. Install Remote Control Batteries:
   • Insert 2 x AAA NiCa batteries (not included) into the remote control.

Operating Instructions

The Lucande Vindur Ceiling Fan is operated using the included remote control.

Remote Control Functions:

• Power Button (⏻): Turns the fan ON or OFF.
• Speed Control (1-6): Adjusts the fan speed from 1 (lowest) to 6 (highest).
• Summer/Winter Mode (↻): Toggles between forward (summer) and reverse (winter) rotation.
  • Summer Mode (Forward): Blades rotate counter-clockwise, pushing air downwards to create a cooling effect.
  • Winter Mode (Reverse): Blades rotate clockwise, drawing air upwards to circulate warm air trapped near the ceiling.
• Timer Functions (1H, 2H, 4H, 8H): Sets the fan to operate for a specified duration before automatically turning off.

Maintenance

Regular maintenance ensures optimal performance and extends the lifespan of your fan.

• Cleaning:
  • Before cleaning, ensure the power is turned off at the circuit breaker.
  • Wipe the fan blades and motor housing with a soft, damp cloth. Do not use abrasive cleaners or solvents.
  • Avoid getting water into the motor housing.
• Blade Balance:
  • If the fan wobbles, check that all blade screws are tight.
  • Ensure blades are free from dust buildup, which can cause imbalance.
• Annual Check:
  • Periodically check all connections and screws for tightness.
