1. Introduction
This manual provides essential information for setting up, operating, maintaining, and troubleshooting your realme NARZO N61 smartphone. Please read this manual carefully before using your device to ensure proper function and safety.

3. Device Layout
Familiarize yourself with the physical components and ports of your realme NARZO N61.

4. Setup
4.1. Inserting SIM Cards and MicroSD Card
- Locate the SIM card tray on the side of your device (refer to Figure 3.2).
- Insert the SIM ejector tool into the small hole next to the tray and push gently until the tray pops out.
- Place your Nano-SIM cards and/or a microSD card (for expandable storage up to 2TB) into the designated slots on the tray. Ensure the gold contacts face downwards.
- Carefully reinsert the tray into the device until it clicks into place.
4.2. Powering On and Initial Setup
- Press and hold the Power button (located on the side, refer to Figure 3.2) until the realme logo appears.
- Follow the on-screen instructions to select your language, region, and connect to a Wi-Fi network.
- Sign in with your Google account or create a new one to access Google services and the Play Store.
- Set up your preferred screen lock method, including fingerprint recognition for enhanced security.
5. Operating Your Device
5.1. Basic Navigation
- Touchscreen Gestures: Tap to select, swipe to scroll, pinch to zoom.
- Home Screen: Access apps, widgets, and notifications.
- Notification Panel: Swipe down from the top of the screen to view notifications and quick settings.
5.2. Display Features
The realme NARZO N61 features a 90Hz Eye Comfort Display. This display offers smoother scrolling and reduced eye strain. You can adjust display settings, including refresh rate and eye comfort mode, in the device settings.
5.3. Camera Usage
Your device is equipped with a 32MP Super Clear main camera and a 5MP front camera. To open the camera app, tap the camera icon on your home screen or app drawer. Select modes such as Photo, Video, Portrait, and more. Tap the shutter button to capture images or start/stop video recording.
5.4. Battery Management
The device is powered by a 5000mAh Lithium-Ion battery. To charge, connect the USB Type-C cable to the phone's port (refer to Figure 3.3) and the adapter to a power outlet. For optimal battery life, avoid extreme temperatures and use the provided charger.

5.5. Storage
The realme NARZO N61 comes with 64GB of internal storage and supports expandable memory up to 2TB via a microSD card. The device also features dynamic RAM expansion, allowing for up to 6GB of additional virtual RAM.

5.6. Security
Unlock your device using fingerprint recognition. The fingerprint sensor is integrated for quick and secure access. You can set up and manage your fingerprints in the device's security settings.
5.7. Connectivity
The device supports 4G cellular technology, Wi-Fi, and USB connectivity. It includes a 3.5mm headphone jack for audio accessories.
5.8. IP54 Dust & Water Resistance
The realme NARZO N61 is rated IP54 for dust and water resistance. This means it is protected against limited dust ingress and water splashes from any direction. It is not designed for submersion in water. Avoid exposing the device to excessive moisture or liquids.

6. Maintenance
6.1. Cleaning the Device
Use a soft, lint-free cloth to clean the screen and body of your phone. Avoid using harsh chemicals or abrasive materials that could damage the finish.
6.2. Software Updates
Regularly check for and install software updates to ensure your device has the latest features, security patches, and performance improvements. Go to Settings > About device > realme UI version to check for updates.
6.3. Battery Care
To prolong battery life, avoid fully discharging the battery frequently. Charge your device using the original charger and cable. Do not expose the device to extreme heat or cold.
6.4. Data Backup
Regularly back up your important data (photos, contacts, documents) to a cloud service or a computer to prevent data loss.
7. Troubleshooting
7.1. Common Issues
- Device not turning on: Ensure the battery is charged. Press and hold the power button for at least 10 seconds.
- Device freezing/unresponsive: Force restart by pressing and holding the Power button and Volume Up button simultaneously for about 10-15 seconds.
- Network issues: Check if airplane mode is off. Restart the device. Verify SIM card insertion.
- App crashing: Clear the app's cache and data in Settings > Apps > [App Name] > Storage. Reinstall the app if necessary.
7.2. Factory Reset
If persistent issues occur, you may need to perform a factory reset. Warning: This will erase all data on your device. Back up your data before proceeding. Go to Settings > System > Reset options > Erase all data (factory reset) and follow the on-screen instructions.
