Assembly Instructions
Assembly typically requires two adults. Follow the numbered steps carefully. All parts are labeled for easy identification.
Step 1: Unpack and Identify Components
Carefully unpack all items from the box. Lay out all parts on a clean, soft surface (like a carpet) to prevent scratches. Identify each component using the provided labels and compare them against the parts list in the separate installation manual.

Step 2: Assemble the Lower Bunk Frame
Begin by connecting the side rails to the headboard and footboard of the lower (Queen size) bunk. Ensure all bolts are finger-tightened initially. The lower bed features extra thick support legs for enhanced stability.

Step 3: Install Slats for the Lower Bunk
Place the metal slats onto the designated supports on the lower bunk frame. Secure them using the provided fasteners. Each slat should have noise-reducing foam pads to prevent friction and squeaking.
Step 4: Assemble the Upper Bunk Frame
Assemble the upper (Full XL size) bunk frame similarly to the lower bunk, connecting the side rails to its headboard and footboard. Ensure the guardrails are properly attached to the upper bunk frame as per the detailed manual.

Step 5: Install Slats for the Upper Bunk
Attach the metal slats to the upper bunk frame, ensuring the noise-reducing foam pads are correctly positioned. Once all slats are in place, securely tighten all fasteners on both the upper and lower bunk frames.
Step 6: Attach the Ladder
Securely attach the EVA non-slip ladder to the designated attachment points on the bunk bed frame. Ensure the ladder is stable and does not wobble. The EVA covers provide a comfortable and slip-resistant surface for climbing.

Step 7: Final Checks
After assembly, double-check all bolts and screws to ensure they are fully tightened. Verify the stability of the entire bunk bed structure, including the guardrails and ladder. Ensure there are no loose parts or sharp edges.
Operating Instructions
Weight Capacity
- Upper Bunk: Maximum weight capacity is 400 lbs.
- Lower Bunk: Maximum weight capacity is 600 lbs.
Do not exceed these weight limits to prevent structural damage or injury. The bunk bed is designed for sleeping purposes only. Avoid excessive jumping or rough play on either bunk.
Mattress Requirements
- Upper Bunk (Full XL): Use a Full XL mattress with a maximum thickness of 8 inches to ensure the guardrails remain effective.
- Lower Bunk (Queen): Use a Queen mattress.
No box spring is required for either bunk as the metal slats provide adequate support.
Under-Bed Storage
The bunk bed offers approximately 11.5 inches of clearance under the lower bunk, providing space for storage bins or luggage. Utilize this space to keep your room organized.

Maintenance
- Cleaning: Wipe down the metal frame with a soft, damp cloth. Avoid abrasive cleaners or harsh chemicals that could damage the powder-coated finish.
- Fastener Checks: Periodically (e.g., every 3-6 months) inspect all bolts, screws, and connections. Tighten any that have become loose to maintain the bed's stability and safety.
- EVA Ladder Covers: Ensure the EVA non-slip covers on the ladder rungs are intact and securely in place. Replace if worn or damaged.
- Noise Reduction: The bed is designed with noise-reducing foam pads. If squeaking occurs, check the placement of these pads and ensure all slats are properly seated and secured.
