Setup

  1. Unpacking: Carefully remove the ice maker from its packaging. Remove all packing materials, including any tape or protective films.
  2. Placement: Place the ice maker on a flat, stable surface. Ensure there is adequate ventilation around the unit, especially near the exhaust fan. Avoid placing it near heat sources or in direct sunlight.

Operating Instructions

Making Ice

  1. Add Water: Open the top cover and pour potable water into the water reservoir. Do not exceed the maximum water level mark (less than 1.2L).
  2. Start Ice Making: Press the "ON/OFF" button to start the ice making cycle. The "POWER" indicator light will illuminate.
  3. Ice Production: The ice maker will begin producing ice cubes. Approximately 9 ice cubes will be ready in 6-8 minutes.
  4. Ice Full Indicator: When the ice basket is full (over 1.3lbs), the "ICE FULL" indicator light will turn on, and the ice making process will automatically stop. Remove ice from the basket to resume production.
  5. Water Shortage Indicator: If the water level is insufficient, the "ADD WATER" indicator light will turn on, and the ice making process will pause. Add more water to resume.
  6. Collecting Ice: Use the provided ice shovel to remove ice cubes from the basket. For best results, transfer ice to a freezer for storage to prevent melting.

Self-Cleaning Function

The ice maker features a convenient self-cleaning mode:

  1. Preparation: Ensure the ice maker is plugged in and in standby mode (Power indicator off).
  2. Activate Self-Cleaning: Press and hold the "ON/OFF" button for more than 5 seconds. The self-cleaning mode will begin.
  3. Cleaning Cycle: The automatic self-cleaning process will run for approximately 30 minutes.
  4. Drain Water: After the cleaning cycle is complete, unplug the unit and drain the water from the bottom drain hole.
  5. Rinse: For thorough cleaning, you may add a small amount of lemon juice or soda to the water during the self-cleaning cycle. After draining, rinse the reservoir with clean water and drain again.
