2. Safety Information
Always follow basic safety precautions when using electrical appliances to reduce the risk of fire, electric shock, and injury to persons.
- Read all instructions before using this fireplace.
- Do not operate any fireplace with a damaged cord or plug, or if the heater malfunctions or has been dropped or damaged in any manner.
- Do not use outdoors.
- Avoid placing the power cord under carpeting or covering it with throw rugs, runners, or similar coverings.
- To disconnect the fireplace, turn controls to off, then remove the plug from the outlet.
- Always unplug the fireplace when not in use.
- Do not insert or allow foreign objects to enter any ventilation or exhaust opening as this may cause an electric shock or fire, or damage the fireplace.
- This fireplace is hot when in use. To avoid burns, do not let bare skin touch hot surfaces.
- Keep combustible materials, such as furniture, pillows, bedding, papers, clothes, and curtains at least 3 feet (0.9 m) from the front of the fireplace.
- The heater is equipped with an overheating protection device. If the heater reaches an unsafe temperature (212°F), it will automatically turn off.

4. Installation
This electric fireplace can be installed either recessed into a wall or mounted directly onto a wall surface. Ensure the power supply is disconnected before beginning installation.

4.1 Recessed Installation
For recessed installation, prepare a wall opening according to the minimum dimensions provided above. Ensure there is adequate clearance around the unit for ventilation and maintenance. Secure the fireplace unit within the opening using the provided mounting hardware.

4.2 Wall-Mounted Installation
For wall-mounted installation, select a suitable wall location away from combustible materials. Attach the wall mounting bracket to the wall using appropriate fasteners for your wall type. Carefully lift and hang the fireplace unit onto the bracket, ensuring it is securely seated.

4.3 Media Installation
The fireplace comes with both crystal and artificial log media. These can be freely placed into the fuel bed area before securing the front glass panel. Choose the media that best suits your aesthetic preference.

5. Operating Instructions
Your Valuxhome electric fireplace can be operated using the touch screen panel on the unit or the included remote control.
5.1 Control Panel and Remote Control
The control panel is located on the front of the fireplace. The remote control provides convenient access to all functions from a distance.

5.2 Power On/Off
Press the power button on the control panel or remote to turn the fireplace on or off.
5.3 Flame and Fuel Bed Colors
Cycle through 13 different flame colors and 13 fuel bed colors using the dedicated buttons on the control panel or remote. The flame and bed light can be displayed with or without the heating function active.

5.4 Heating Function
Select between 750W (Low) or 1500W (High) heating modes. The temperature can be adjusted from 62°F to 86°F. For optimal heating, it is recommended to start with a lower temperature and increase it after approximately 30 minutes to allow for more even and rapid temperature rise. The heating function can operate independently of the flame display.

5.5 Timer Function
Set the built-in timer for automatic shut-off from 1 to 9 hours. This feature helps conserve energy and provides peace of mind.

6. Maintenance
Regular maintenance ensures the longevity and optimal performance of your electric fireplace.
- Cleaning: Always unplug the fireplace before cleaning. Use a soft, damp cloth to wipe the exterior surfaces. Do not use abrasive cleaners or sprays.
- Ventilation: Ensure the air vents are clear of dust and debris to prevent overheating.
- Storage: If storing the fireplace for an extended period, ensure it is clean and dry, and store it in a cool, dry place.
7. Troubleshooting
If you experience issues with your fireplace, refer to the following common problems and solutions:
- No Power: Check if the power cord is securely plugged into a working outlet. Verify the circuit breaker has not tripped.
- No Heat: Ensure the heating function is turned on and the temperature setting is above the ambient room temperature. Check if the overheating protection has been activated (unplug, wait 10-15 minutes, then plug back in).
- Remote Control Not Working: Replace the batteries in the remote control. Ensure there are no obstructions between the remote and the fireplace sensor.
- Unusual Noises: A slight fan noise is normal during heating operation. If unusual or loud noises occur, discontinue use and contact customer support.
