3. Setup

1. Unpacking: Carefully remove the machine from its packaging. Inspect for any shipping damage.
2. Placement: Place the machine on a stable, level surface with sufficient space for operation and ventilation.
3. Power Connection: Connect the power cord to a suitable electrical outlet (USA: AC 110V 60Hz).
4. Conveyor Belt Adjustment: The conveyor belt height and position can be adjusted using the knobs on the side to accommodate different bag sizes.
5. Initial Inspection: Ensure all belts (Teflon and toothed) are correctly installed and tensioned.

4. Operating Instructions

4.1 Control Panel Overview

The control panel features switches for Power, Heater, and Fan, along with a Speed knob and a digital Temperature Controller.

4.2 Basic Operation

1. Power On: Flip the POWER switch to the ON position.
2. Activate Heater: Turn on the HEATER switch. The digital display will show the current temperature (PV) and the set temperature (SV).
3. Set Temperature: Use the SET, SHIFT, DOWN, and UP buttons on the temperature controller to adjust the desired sealing temperature. The recommended temperature range is 32-572°F (0-300°C). Allow the machine to reach the set temperature before sealing.
4. Activate Fan: Turn on the FAN switch to ensure proper cooling of the sealing mechanism.
5. Adjust Speed: Rotate the SPEED knob to set the desired conveyor belt speed. The machine can operate at speeds up to 0-52.49 ft/min (0-16 m/min). Adjust speed based on bag material and thickness for optimal seal quality.
6. Sealing Bags: Place the open end of the bag onto the conveyor belt, guiding it into the sealing area. The machine will automatically feed and seal the bag.
7. Printing/Embossing: If equipped with an embossing wheel, the machine can print numbers and dates on the seal. Ensure the embossing wheel is correctly installed and adjusted.

5. Maintenance

• Cleaning: Regularly clean the conveyor belt and sealing area to prevent residue buildup. Use a soft, damp cloth. Ensure the machine is unplugged and cooled down before cleaning.
• Belt Inspection: Periodically inspect the Teflon belts and toothed belts for wear and tear. Replace them if they show signs of damage or excessive wear. The machine includes spare belts.
• Fuse Replacement: If the machine loses power unexpectedly, check the fuse. An extra fuse is provided for replacement.
• Lubrication: Consult the VEVOR support website for specific lubrication requirements, if any.

6. Troubleshooting

• Poor Seal Quality:
  • Check if the temperature is set correctly for the bag material. Increase temperature for thicker films.
  • Adjust the sealing speed. Slower speeds allow more heat transfer for a stronger seal.
  • Inspect Teflon belts for damage or wear. Replace if necessary.
• Machine Not Powering On:
  • Ensure the power cord is securely plugged into both the machine and the outlet.
  • Check the power switch.
  • Inspect and replace the fuse if blown.
• Conveyor Belt Not Moving:
  • Check the speed knob setting.
  • Ensure the power is on and there are no obstructions.
  • Inspect toothed belts for damage.
