Media and Entertainment

Your Xbox Series S is not just for gaming. Download popular streaming apps like Netflix, Hulu, Amazon Prime Video, Disney+, and more to enjoy movies, TV shows, and other digital content directly on your console.

Maintenance

Cleaning Your Console

  • Exterior: Use a soft, dry, lint-free cloth to gently wipe the exterior of the console. Avoid abrasive cleaners or solvents.
  • Vents: Periodically inspect the console's vents for dust buildup. Use a can of compressed air to carefully clear any dust, holding the can upright and using short bursts.

Ventilation

Ensure your console is placed in an area with adequate airflow. Do not place it inside an enclosed cabinet or directly on carpet that might block the vents. Proper ventilation prevents overheating and ensures optimal performance.

Storage Expansion

The Xbox Series S 1TB comes with ample storage, but if you require more space for games, you can expand it using a compatible Seagate Storage Expansion Card for Xbox Series X|S, which plugs into the dedicated slot on the back of the console.
