- Connect to Cell: Make and receive calls from your cellular plan while enjoying the comforts of a home phone. Pair up to 2 cell phones and connect 2 cell phones or one cell phone and one BLUETOOTH headset for use with landline calls.
- 2" White Backlit Display: High-contrast text on the extra-large 2" screen makes it easy to read incoming caller ID or call history records. The white backlit handset keypad allows for easy dialing in low-light conditions.
- 22-Minute Digital Answering Machine: Features English/French voice prompts, an LED counter, dated & time stamp, and remote access from the handset or via calling in, ensuring you don't miss important messages.
- Smart Call Blocker: Automatically blocks robocalls from ever ringing through on your landline. The smart call block directory allows you to permanently blacklist up to 1,000 numbers with one touch.
- Expandable System: Expandable up to 5 handsets (uses VS112-0 accessory handset - sold separately) for extended coverage throughout your home or office.
Setup
- Unpacking: Carefully remove all components from the packaging. Ensure all 4 handsets, the main base unit, 3 charger cradles, power adapters, telephone line cord, and rechargeable batteries are present.
- Battery Installation: For each handset, open the battery compartment cover and insert the provided rechargeable batteries, observing the correct polarity (+ and -). Close the battery compartment.
- Charging Handsets: Place each handset into its respective charger cradle or the main base unit. Allow the handsets to charge for at least 16 hours before initial use to ensure optimal battery performance. The CHARGE light on the handset will indicate charging status.
- Connecting the Main Base Unit:
- Plug one end of the telephone line cord into the TEL LINE jack on the back of the main base unit.
- Plug the other end of the telephone line cord into a telephone wall jack.
- Plug the small end of the power adapter into the POWER jack on the back of the main base unit.
- Plug the large end of the power adapter into an electrical outlet not controlled by a wall switch.
- Connecting Charger Cradles: For each additional charger cradle, plug its power adapter into an electrical outlet not controlled by a wall switch.
- Bluetooth Pairing (Connect to Cell):
- Ensure your cellular phone's Bluetooth is enabled.
- On the VTech base unit or handset, navigate to the Bluetooth menu.
- Select "Pair Cell" and follow the on-screen prompts to pair your cellular phone. Up to two cellular phones can be paired.

Operating Instructions
Making and Receiving Calls
- Making a Call: Lift a handset from its cradle or press the TALK/FLASH button. Dial the desired phone number.
- Receiving a Call: When the phone rings, lift a handset from its cradle or press the TALK/FLASH button.
- Using Speakerphone: During a call, press the SPEAKER button to activate the speakerphone function for hands-free conversation.

Call Management
- Smart Call Blocker: To block an unwanted call, press the CALL BLOCK button during a call or after reviewing Caller ID history. Follow the prompts to add the number to the block list. The system can store up to 1,000 blocked numbers.

- Quiet Mode: Activate Quiet Mode through the handset menu to silence the ringer for a specified period, preventing interruptions.
Digital Answering System
- Turning On/Off: Press the ANSWER ON/OFF button on the main base unit to activate or deactivate the answering system.
- Playing Messages: Press the PLAY/STOP button on the main base unit or access the answering system menu on a handset to listen to messages.
- Remote Access: You can access your answering system remotely by calling your home phone number from an outside line and entering your remote access code.

Expanding the System

Poor Call Quality
- Move the handset closer to the main base unit.
