3. Product Overview
The TUMMASTER ARGB Fan HUB Y-09 features multiple ports for connecting ARGB devices and PWM fans, along with a magnetic design for easy installation within your PC case. It supports synchronization with various motherboard RGB software.

4. Setup and Installation
Important Safety Warning:
This hub supports 5V 3-pin ARGB devices only. It is NOT compatible with +12V 4-pin RGB devices. Connecting a 12V 4-pin RGB device to a 5V 3-pin ARGB port will cause irreversible damage to the device and potentially the hub. Always ensure the arrow on the ARGB device plug aligns with the 5V marking on the hub port.
- Mount the Hub: Place the ARGB Fan HUB in a suitable location within your PC case. The magnetic base allows for easy attachment to any metal surface.
- Connect SATA Power: Connect the provided SATA power cable from your power supply unit (PSU) to the 'POWER SATA' port on the hub. This provides power to both the fans and ARGB lighting.
- Connect PWM Fans: Connect your 12V 4-pin PWM fans to the 'FAN1' through 'FAN9' ports on the hub. Ensure the fan connected to the 'FAN1' (red) port is the primary fan for PWM function if you intend to use motherboard control.
- Connect ARGB Devices: Connect your 5V 3-pin ARGB devices (e.g., ARGB fans, ARGB light strips) to the 'LED1' through 'LED9' ports on the hub. Double-check the 5V arrow alignment as per the safety warning.
- Connect to Motherboard (Optional):
- ARGB Sync: Connect the ARGB motherboard sync cable from the 'PWM/ARGB IN' port on the hub to your motherboard's 5V 3-pin ARGB header.
- PWM Sync: Connect the PWM motherboard sync cable from the 'PWM/ARGB IN' port on the hub to your motherboard's 4-pin CPU_FAN or CHA_FAN header.
Connecting to the motherboard allows you to control lighting and fan speeds via your motherboard's software (e.g., ASUS Aura Sync, MSI Mystic Light Sync).

5. Operation
Using the RF Remote Control:
The included RF remote control allows for direct management of lighting effects and fan speeds. Ensure the hub is powered on for the remote to function.

- Power Button: Turns the lighting on/off.
- Mode Button: Cycles through various ARGB lighting effects.
- Speed +/-: Adjusts the speed of the current lighting effect.
- Color Buttons: Selects static colors or color cycling modes.
- Brightness +/-: Adjusts the brightness of the ARGB lighting.
- Fan Speed Buttons: Controls the speed of connected PWM fans (if not controlled by motherboard).
Motherboard Synchronization:
If the hub is connected to your motherboard's ARGB and PWM headers, you can control the lighting and fan speeds through your motherboard's proprietary software. The hub will automatically switch to motherboard control when a signal is detected.

6. Troubleshooting
- No Power to Hub/Fans/Lights:
- Ensure the SATA power cable is securely connected to both the hub and the PSU.
- Verify your PSU is powered on and functioning correctly.
- ARGB Lights Not Working or Incorrect Colors:
- Crucial Check: Confirm that all connected ARGB devices are 5V 3-pin. Connecting 12V 4-pin RGB devices will cause damage.
- Check the connection direction of ARGB cables; ensure the arrow on the connector aligns with the 5V marking on the hub.
- If using motherboard sync, ensure the ARGB cable is connected to the correct 5V 3-pin header on the motherboard and that the motherboard software is configured correctly.
- Try using the remote control to see if the lights respond, which can help determine if the issue is with the hub or motherboard sync.
- Fans Not Spinning or Not Responding to Control:
- Ensure all PWM fan cables are securely connected to the hub.
- Verify the PWM motherboard sync cable is connected to a functional 4-pin fan header on your motherboard.
- Check your motherboard's BIOS/UEFI settings or fan control software to ensure fan headers are configured for PWM control.
- If using the remote, ensure the fan speed buttons are being pressed.
- Remote Control Not Working:
- Ensure the hub is powered on.
- Check the battery in the remote control and replace if necessary.
- Ensure there are no obstructions between the remote and the hub.
