4.3 Steering Wheel Control (SWC)
The unit supports steering wheel controls. The connection method depends on whether your vehicle has a CANBUS decoder.

- With CANBUS Decoder: Connect the CANBUS decoder before powering on the machine. Then, go to 'Apps' -> 'Settings' -> 'Factory Settings' (password: 8888/8317) -> 'Vehicle' -> 'Automotive type'. Select the brand of the CANBUS decoder and the matching model and year to activate SWC functionality.

- No Sound: Verify speaker connections. Check volume levels and EQ settings. Ensure the correct audio source is selected.
- Steering Wheel Controls Not Working: Re-check wiring connections for Key1/Key2. If applicable, ensure the CANBUS decoder is correctly configured in factory settings (refer to Section 4.3). Some users report needing to re-map controls after power cycles; try re-learning the controls.
- Bluetooth/WiFi Connectivity Issues: Ensure the reverse input cable is connected, even if a backup camera is not in use, as it can affect signal reception. Restart the unit and your mobile device.
- CarPlay/Android Auto Not Connecting: Ensure Bluetooth is enabled on your phone and the unit. Try forgetting the device on both ends and re-pairing. Verify your phone's operating system is up to date.
- Poor Microphone Quality: Check the external microphone connection. Ensure it is positioned correctly and not obstructed.
- System Lag/Slow Performance: Close unnecessary background applications. Clear cache or perform a factory reset if persistent (note: this will erase all user data).
