4. Setup Guide
4.1 Power Connection
- Connect the 5V power adapter to the feeder's power input port.
- Plug the adapter into a standard wall outlet.
- For backup power, insert 3 D-size alkaline batteries (not included) into the battery compartment at the bottom of the feeder. Ensure correct polarity.
Note: It is recommended to use both the AC adapter and backup batteries to ensure uninterrupted feeding in case of a power outage.

4.2 Filling the Food Tank
- Open the top lid of the feeder by pressing the release button.
- Pour dry pet food into the food tank. The recommended food pellet size is 0.2-0.6 inches.
- Close the lid securely until you hear a click, ensuring the top lock design is engaged to prevent pets from opening it.
4.3 Assembling the Food Tray
Attach the food tray to the main unit by sliding it into the designated slot at the bottom front of the feeder until it clicks into place.
5. Operating Instructions
5.1 Setting Current Time
Refer to the LED screen for time settings. Use the '+' and '-' buttons to adjust the hour and minute. Press the 'Set' button to confirm.

5.2 Programming Feeding Schedule
- Press the 'Program' button to enter feeding schedule mode.
- Use the '+' and '-' buttons to set the desired meal time (up to 5 meals).
- Press 'Set' to confirm the time and move to portion setting.
- Use '+' and '-' to adjust the portion size (1-40 portions).
- Repeat for all desired meals. Press 'Program' again to exit programming mode.

5.3 Recording Voice Message
- Press and hold the microphone button for three seconds until the indicator light flashes.
- Speak your 10-second message clearly into the microphone.
- Release the button to save the recording. The message will play automatically at each scheduled feeding.
5.4 Manual Feeding
To dispense food manually, press the 'Manual Feed' button. The feeder will dispense one portion of food. You can press it multiple times for additional portions.
6. Maintenance and Cleaning
Regular cleaning ensures hygiene and extends the life of your feeder.
6.1 Disassembly for Cleaning
- Ensure the feeder is unplugged and batteries are removed.
- Remove the food tray by sliding it out.
- Open the top lid and carefully lift out the food tank.
6.2 Cleaning Instructions
- The food tank and food tray are removable and can be hand washed with mild soap and water.
- Rinse thoroughly and ensure all parts are completely dry before reassembly.
- Do not immerse the main unit (containing electronics) in water. Wipe the exterior of the main unit with a damp cloth.
- Avoid using abrasive cleaners or harsh chemicals.

6.3 Reassembly
Once all parts are dry, reassemble the feeder by reversing the disassembly steps. Ensure the food tank and tray are securely in place.
