Setup
Battery Installation:
The thermometer requires two AG13 button cell batteries (not included) for operation.
- Locate the battery compartment on the back of the thermometer unit.
- Slide open the battery compartment cover.
- Insert two AG13 batteries, ensuring the correct polarity (+/-) as indicated inside the compartment.
- Close the battery compartment cover securely. The display should now show a temperature reading.
Initial Placement:
Once batteries are installed, the thermometer is ready for use.
- Place the main display unit in a convenient location where the screen can be easily read.
- Position the 1-meter long probe in the area where temperature measurement is desired. The probe can be submerged in water or placed in air.
- Ensure the probe cable is not pinched or damaged.
Operating Instructions
Taking Measurements:
The thermometer operates continuously once batteries are installed.
- The temperature displayed on the LCD screen is the current temperature detected by the probe.
- The reading updates approximately every 2 seconds.
- No manual calibration or adjustment is typically required for general temperature measurement.
Understanding the Display:
- The large LCD screen shows the temperature in degrees Celsius (°C).
- The display is designed for clear visibility, even from a distance.
Maintenance
