2. Storage
Store the camera in a cool, dry place away from direct sunlight and extreme temperatures. Remove batteries if storing for extended periods.
3. Waterproof Seal Care
Regularly inspect the waterproof seals and O-rings for any signs of wear or damage. Keep them clean and free of debris. If using the waterproof housing, ensure it is properly sealed before submerging.
Troubleshooting
- Camera not turning on: Ensure the battery is fully charged and correctly inserted. Try a different battery if available.
- Recording issues (freezing, corrupted files): Check if the SD card is properly inserted and has sufficient free space. Format the SD card (this will erase all data) or try a different, high-speed SD card.
- Poor image/video quality: Ensure the lens is clean and free from smudges. Check lighting conditions. Adjust camera settings like resolution, frame rate, and HDR if applicable.
- Water leakage: Immediately remove the camera from water. Check all seals and the battery/SD card compartment for proper closure and any damage. Do not use the camera in water again until the issue is resolved.
- Remote control not working: Ensure the remote control battery is not depleted. Re-pair the remote with the camera if necessary, following the pairing instructions in the full manual (if available).
