2. Package Contents
Verify that all components listed below are present in your package:
- (1) Okinos Air Series 120mm Addressable RGB Fan x 5
- (2) Fans Hub x 1
- (3) Remote Controller x 1
- (4) Screws x 20
3. Installation Guide
3.1 Fan Mounting
Mount the Okinos RGB fans into your PC case using the provided screws. Each fan features 8 rubber anti-vibration pads to minimize noise and vibration during operation.

Modding Tip: When installing the fans, it is suggested to use a PH2 Cross Head Screwdriver. The fan screws are self-tapping, meaning they create threads inside the fan's mounting holes during installation. Using the correct screwdriver will prevent damage to the screw surface and ensure a successful installation.

3.2 Connecting to the Control Hub
Connect all Okinos RGB fans to the included Fans Hub. The hub centralizes power and RGB control for all connected fans.

3.3 Power and Motherboard Connections
The Okinos fans utilize both 4-Pin PWM and 3-Pin Addressable RGB connectors. Ensure proper connection for full functionality.
- 4-Pin PWM Connector: Connect the 4-Pin PWM cable from the fan hub to a 4-Pin PWM fan header on your motherboard. This allows the motherboard to control fan speed based on system temperature. The fans operate at 1600±10% RPM, providing a maximum airflow of 35.49 CFM.
- 3-Pin Addressable RGB Connector: Connect the 3-Pin Addressable RGB cable from the fan hub to a 3-Pin 5V Addressable RGB header on your motherboard. This enables synchronization of the fan's RGB lighting with your motherboard's software.
Important: The Okinos A12 fans CANNOT be used with a 4-Pin 12V RGB connector. Ensure you connect to a 3-Pin 5V Addressable RGB header to prevent damage.

PWM Functionality: To enable the PWM function, the PWM fan must be plugged into the "PWM" connector on the motherboard, whether it's through the PWM controller, a 1-to-3 splitter cable, the extension cable, or the PWM connector of the fan itself. Do NOT connect it to a PUMP header, as this will cause the fan to run at full speed constantly.
4. Operating Instructions
4.1 RGB Lighting Control
The Okinos RGB fans offer versatile lighting control options:
- Motherboard Control: Sync the fan's RGB lighting with your motherboard's software. Press and hold the "Mode" button on the remote or hub for 3 seconds to initiate synchronization when connecting with the system start. Automatic synchronization occurs upon reopening if the system is turned off.
- Fan Controller: Use the included fan hub for direct control of lighting effects.
- Remote Control: The included manual remote controller allows you to select from 64 built-in lighting options and adjust the fan's speed. To disconnect M/B sync and switch to remote controller, lightly press the MODE button once.

4.2 Fan Performance and Noise
The Okinos RGB fans are designed for high performance with minimal noise. They feature 8 ARGB LEDs and 9 transparent fan blades, capable of displaying 16.8 million colors for personalized lighting effects.

The impeller design focuses on minimizing noise level to 26.9 dBA while delivering superior airflow (35.49 CFM) and pressure (1.17 mmH2O). With hydraulic bearings, friction and vibration are minimized, ensuring quiet operation even at maximum speed (1600 RPM).

5. Maintenance
To ensure optimal performance and longevity of your Okinos RGB Fans, regular maintenance is recommended:
- Cleaning: Periodically clean the fan blades and housing to prevent dust buildup, which can impede airflow and increase noise. Use compressed air or a soft, dry cloth. Ensure the system is powered off before cleaning.
- Cable Management: Ensure all cables are neatly managed and not obstructing airflow or fan blades.
- Inspection: Regularly inspect fan blades for any damage or obstructions.
6. Troubleshooting
| Problem | Possible Cause | Solution |
|---|---|---|
| Fans not spinning | No power to hub/fans; Incorrect connection; Faulty fan/hub. | Check power supply connection to hub. Ensure all fan cables are securely connected to the hub. Verify hub is connected to motherboard/power. |
| RGB lights not working | Incorrect ARGB connection (e.g., 12V header); Loose ARGB cable; Software issue. | Ensure 3-Pin 5V ARGB connection. Reconnect ARGB cables. Check motherboard RGB software settings. Try remote control. |
| Fans running at full speed constantly | PWM cable connected to PUMP header; PWM not enabled in BIOS. | Relocate PWM cable to a standard 4-Pin PWM fan header. Check BIOS settings for fan control. |
| Excessive noise/vibration | Loose mounting screws; Obstruction; Dust buildup. | Tighten mounting screws. Clear any obstructions. Clean fan blades. |
