3. Product Overview

3.1. Side Panel Ports and Controls

  • USB Port: For connecting USB flash drives (up to 32GB) to play media files.
  • SD Card Slot: For inserting SD cards (up to 32GB) to play media files.
  • Earphone Port: 3.5mm jack for connecting headphones.
  • AV OUT: 3.5mm jack for connecting to an external display (e.g., TV, projector) using the provided AV cable.
  • AV IN: 3.5mm jack for connecting external audio/video sources.
  • ON/OFF Switch: Power switch for the device.
  • DC IN: Power input for the AC charger or car charger.

  • MODE: Switches between DVD, USB, and SD card modes.
  • DVD/USB/SD: Selects the input source.
  • PLAY/PAUSE: Starts or pauses playback.
  • STOP: Stops playback.
  • SETUP: Accesses the system settings menu.
  • LCD ON/OFF: Toggles the screen display.
  • VOL+/VOL-: Adjusts the volume level.
  • Directional Buttons (UP/DOWN/LEFT/RIGHT/OK): Navigates menus and confirms selections.

4. Setup

4.1. Charging the Battery

Before first use, fully charge the portable DVD player. The 2500mAh rechargeable battery provides 4-6 hours of continuous playback on a full charge.

  1. Connect the AC charger to the DC IN port on the side of the player.
  2. Plug the AC charger into a standard wall outlet.
  3. The charging indicator light will illuminate. Once fully charged, the light may change color or turn off (refer to the indicator light section in Product Overview for details).
  4. For car use, connect the car charger to the DC IN port and your vehicle's 12V power outlet.

4.2. Connecting to a TV (AV OUT)

You can connect your portable DVD player to a larger screen, such as a TV or projector, using the provided AV cable.

  1. Ensure both the portable DVD player and the TV are turned off.
  2. Connect one end of the AV cable (3.5mm jack) to the AV OUT port on the portable DVD player.
  3. Connect the other end of the AV cable (RCA connectors: yellow for video, red/white for audio) to the corresponding AV IN ports on your TV.
  4. Turn on both devices and select the correct AV input source on your TV.

5. Operating Instructions

5.1. Powering On/Off

Slide the ON/OFF switch on the side of the player to the "ON" position to power on the device. Slide it to "OFF" to power off.

5.2. Playing Discs (DVD/CD)

The player supports various disc formats including CD, DVD, CD-R/RW, DVD±R/±RW, VCD/SVCD. Blu-ray and pirated discs are not supported.

  1. Open the disc cover gently.
  2. Place a compatible disc onto the spindle with the label side facing up.
  3. Close the disc cover firmly until it clicks.
  4. The player will automatically detect and begin playing the disc. If not, press the PLAY/PAUSE button.

5.3. Playing Media from USB/SD Card

The player supports USB drives and SD cards up to 32GB with VOB, AVI, MPEG, MP3, WMA, and JPEG formats.

  1. Insert your USB flash drive into the USB Port or your SD card into the SD Card Slot.
  2. Press the MODE or DVD/USB/SD button to select the corresponding input source (USB or SD).
  3. Navigate through your files using the directional buttons and press OK to select and play.

5.4. Screen Rotation and Flip

The screen can be rotated 270° and flipped 180° for optimal viewing angles.

5.5. Volume Adjustment

Adjust the volume using the VOL+ and VOL- buttons on the player or the remote control. The dual stereo speakers offer adjustable volume levels.

5.6. Using the Remote Control

The included remote control allows for convenient operation from a distance. Ensure the remote is pointed towards the player's infrared receiver.

6. Maintenance

  • Keep the device clean by wiping it with a soft, dry cloth. Avoid using liquid cleaners or aerosols.
  • Do not expose the player to extreme temperatures, direct sunlight, or high humidity.
  • Handle discs carefully to prevent scratches. Clean discs with a soft, lint-free cloth from the center outwards.
  • The built-in Anti-Shock function helps protect the disc reading process during movement, but avoid excessive shaking or impacts.
