2. Safety Information

To ensure safe operation, please observe the following precautions:

  • Always place the humidifier on a firm, flat, waterproof surface at least 12 inches (30 cm) away from walls and appliances.
  • Do not place the humidifier directly on carpet or a towel, as this may block the air inlet.
  • Keep the humidifier out of reach of children and pets.
  • Use only clean, cool tap water. Distilled or demineralized water is recommended to prevent mineral buildup.
  • Do not add water to the mist outlet. Always fill the water tank directly.
  • Unplug the humidifier before filling, cleaning, or moving it.
  • Do not immerse the base unit in water or other liquids.
  • The product features an automatic shut-off when water runs out, enhancing safety.
  • The humidifier is constructed from BPA-free materials.

3. Product Overview

The ASAKUKI AH006 is a 4-liter ultrasonic cool mist humidifier designed for large rooms, bedrooms, and nurseries. It also functions as an essential oil diffuser and features an optional night light.

4. Setup

  1. Unpack: Carefully remove all packaging materials and ensure all components are present.
  2. Placement: Place the humidifier on a flat, stable, and waterproof surface. Ensure it is at least 12 inches (30 cm) away from walls, furniture, and electronic devices.
  3. Fill Water Tank:
    • Remove the top cover of the humidifier.
    • Pour clean, cool tap water directly into the water tank opening. Do not exceed the MAX fill line.
    • Replace the top cover securely.
  4. Connect Power: Plug the power cord into a suitable electrical outlet.

5. Operating Instructions

5.1 Power On/Off and Mist Control

  • Rotate the control knob clockwise from the "OFF" position to turn on the humidifier.
  • Continue rotating the knob clockwise to increase the mist output. Rotate counter-clockwise to decrease the mist output.
  • Rotate the knob counter-clockwise to the "OFF" position to turn off the humidifier.

5.2 Adjusting Mist Direction

  • The mist nozzle on top of the humidifier can be rotated 360° to direct the mist in any desired direction.

5.3 Night Light Function

  • To activate the night light, press the light button located next to the control knob.
  • Press the button again to turn off the night light.

5.4 Aroma Diffuser Function

  • Locate the aroma box on the side of the humidifier base.
  • Pull out the aroma box tray.
  • Add a few drops of your favorite essential oil onto the aroma pad inside the tray. Do not add essential oils directly into the water tank.
  • Slide the aroma box tray back into place.

5.5 Automatic Shut-Off

  • The humidifier will automatically turn off when the water level in the tank is too low. The water shortage indicator light will illuminate red.
  • Refill the water tank to resume operation.

6. Maintenance and Cleaning

Regular cleaning is essential for optimal performance and to prevent mineral buildup and bacterial growth.

6.1 Daily Maintenance

  • Empty the water tank and base unit daily.
  • Rinse the water tank and base unit with fresh water.
  • Wipe all surfaces dry with a clean cloth.

6.2 Weekly Cleaning

  • Descaling the Water Tank and Base:
    • Unplug the humidifier.
    • Remove the water tank from the base.
    • Pour 1 cup (250 ml) of undiluted white vinegar into the water tank and base unit.
    • Let it soak for 20-30 minutes.
    • Use a soft brush or cloth to clean any mineral buildup.
    • Rinse thoroughly with clean water until the vinegar smell is gone.
  • Cleaning the Aroma Box:
    • Remove the aroma pad from the aroma box.
    • Wash the aroma pad with mild soap and water, then rinse thoroughly. Allow it to air dry completely before reuse.
    • Wipe the aroma box clean with a damp cloth.

7. Troubleshooting
