The Bozily Golf Rangefinder offers two primary operating modes to suit different measurement needs:

3.1 Mode 1: Continuous Scan (Tournament Legal)

This mode is ideal for quickly scanning distances to multiple targets or for continuous measurement as you move. It provides real-time distance updates without slope compensation, making it legal for tournament play.

  • Activation: Press the power/measurement button once to activate the device.
  • Measurement: Press and hold the power/measurement button while sweeping across your desired targets. The distance will update continuously on the display.

3.2 Mode 2: Slope Distance + Angle + Flag-Lock + Vibration

This mode is perfect for daily training and provides advanced measurements including slope-adjusted distance, actual distance, and angle. The Flag-Lock feature with vibration technology helps confirm measurement to the flagstick.

  • Activation: Press the mode button to switch to Mode 2.
  • Flag-Lock: Aim at the flagstick and press the power/measurement button. The device will lock onto the flag and vibrate to confirm the measurement. The display will show the slope-adjusted distance, actual distance, and angle.

5. Maintenance

Proper care and maintenance will ensure the longevity and accuracy of your rangefinder.

  • Cleaning Lenses: Use the provided cleaning cloth or a soft, lint-free cloth to gently wipe the lenses. Avoid using abrasive materials or harsh chemicals that could scratch the optical surfaces.
  • Cleaning Body: Wipe the body of the rangefinder with a soft, damp cloth. Do not immerse the device in water. While it is normally water-resistant, it is not fully waterproof.
  • Storage: Store the rangefinder in its carrying case when not in use to protect it from dust, dirt, and physical damage. Store in a cool, dry place away from direct sunlight and extreme temperatures.
  • Avoid Drops: Always use the lanyard to prevent accidental drops, which can damage internal components or misalign optics.
