Safety Information

Setup and Installation
The Sunco 6 Inch Gimbal LED Recessed Light is designed for easy, canless installation. Follow these steps carefully:
- Prepare the Opening: Cut a 4.92-inch diameter hole in the ceiling at the desired location. Ensure there are no obstructions behind the ceiling.
- Wiring the Junction Box: Open the junction box cover. Connect the electrical supply wires to the corresponding wires inside the junction box using the provided wire nuts. Connect the black wire to the live wire, the white wire to the neutral wire, and the bare copper wire to the ground wire. Secure the connections.
- Position the Junction Box: Place the wired junction box through the ceiling hole.
- Connect the Fixture: Connect the cable from the recessed light fixture to the junction box. Ensure the connection is secure.
- Insert the Fixture: Push the spring-loaded clips on the side of the light fixture upwards and insert the fixture into the ceiling hole. The clips will automatically secure the light in place.

For optimal performance, ensure the fixture is properly seated and the gimbal mechanism can move freely.
Operating Instructions
Color Temperature Selection (CCT)
Your Sunco Gimbal LED Recessed Light features 5 selectable color temperatures: 2700K (Soft White), 3000K (Warm White), 4000K (Cool White), 5000K (Daylight), and 6000K (Daylight Deluxe). The CCT can be adjusted using a switch located on the junction box. Select your preferred color temperature before final installation in the ceiling.

Night Light Feature
This fixture includes a 2700K night light mode. To activate the night light, simply flip your wall light switch OFF and then ON twice in quick succession. The light will switch between the main downlight and the night light mode with this sequence.

Dimmability
Both the main downlight and the night light are dimmable from 10% to 100%. Use with compatible LED dimmer switches for optimal performance. Refer to your dimmer switch manufacturer's instructions for compatibility and installation.

Adjustable Directional Lighting
The gimbal design allows you to adjust the direction of the light beam. The light can be tilted up to 90 degrees and rotated 360 degrees, providing flexible illumination for various applications such as accent lighting or task lighting.
