Introduction

Setup

Safety Precautions

  • Ensure the inverter is installed in a well-ventilated area, away from flammable materials and moisture.
  • All electrical connections must be performed by qualified personnel in accordance with local electrical codes.
  • Before making any connections, ensure all power sources (AC, DC, Solar) are disconnected.
  • Wear appropriate personal protective equipment (PPE) during installation.

Installation Steps

  1. Mounting: Securely mount the inverter to a vertical surface using appropriate fasteners. Ensure adequate clearance for ventilation.
  2. Battery Connection: Connect the battery cables to the inverter's DC input terminals. Ensure correct polarity (+ to + and - to -).
  3. Solar Panel Connection: Connect the solar panel array to the PV input terminals. Verify correct polarity and ensure the solar input voltage is within the specified range.
  4. AC Input Connection: Connect the utility grid or generator AC power source to the AC input terminals.
  5. AC Output Connection: Connect your household or office loads to the AC output terminals.
  6. Communication Port: If desired, connect a communication cable to the COMM port for monitoring or remote control.
  7. Grounding: Ensure the inverter is properly grounded to prevent electrical hazards.

Operating Instructions

Powering On/Off

  • To Power On: After all connections are secure, switch the main power breaker to the ON position. The LCD display will illuminate.
  • To Power Off: Disconnect all AC loads, then switch the main power breaker to the OFF position. Disconnect solar and battery inputs if performing maintenance.

LCD Display and Settings

The integrated LCD display provides real-time operational status and allows for easy adjustment of various parameters. Use the navigation buttons (UP, DOWN, ENTER, ESC) to browse menus and modify settings.

  • Battery Power Adjustment: Adjust the battery charging current and voltage limits to match your battery type and capacity.
  • Charger Priority: Set the priority for AC charger and solar charger. Options typically include:
    • Utility First: Prioritizes utility power for charging and loads.

    • SBU (Solar-Battery-Utility): Prioritizes solar, then battery, then utility.

Operating Modes

The inverter supports various operating modes to optimize power usage based on available sources:

  • Inverter Mode: Converts DC power from batteries or solar panels into AC power for connected loads.
