4. Setup and Assembly
Your G-FORCE RS Electric Bike comes mostly pre-assembled. Follow these steps to complete the setup:
- Unpacking: Carefully remove the bike and all components from the packaging. Retain packaging for future transport or storage.
- Handlebar Installation: Unfold the handlebar stem and secure it in the upright position. Adjust the handlebar height and angle for comfortable riding.
- Seat Post Installation: Insert the seat post into the frame and adjust the seat height to ensure your feet can comfortably touch the ground when stopped. Secure the quick-release lever.
- Pedal Attachment: Identify the left (L) and right (R) pedals. The left pedal tightens counter-clockwise, and the right pedal tightens clockwise. Apply a small amount of grease to the threads before installation.
- Battery Installation: Insert the battery into its compartment and ensure it clicks securely into place. Use the provided key to lock the battery.
- Tire Inflation: Inflate tires to the recommended pressure (check sidewall of the tire for specific PSI).
- Brake Check: Test both front and rear brakes to ensure they engage properly and provide sufficient stopping power.
A tool kit is included for assembly.
5. Operating Instructions
Familiarize yourself with the controls before riding.
5.1 Powering On/Off
Press and hold the power button on the LCD display to turn the bike on or off. The display will show battery level, speed, and other ride data.
5.2 Pedal Assist System (PAS)
The G-FORCE RS features multiple levels of pedal assist. Use the '+' and '-' buttons on the control panel to adjust the assist level. Higher levels provide more motor assistance as you pedal.

5.3 Throttle Operation
The thumb throttle provides instant power without pedaling. Twist the throttle gently to engage the motor. Use the throttle for quick acceleration or when you need a boost without pedaling.
5.4 Gear Shifting
Your bike is equipped with a Shimano 7-speed transmission. Use the shifter on the handlebar to change gears. Shift to a lower gear for climbing hills and a higher gear for flat terrain or downhill riding.
5.5 Braking
The G-FORCE RS features hydraulic disc brakes for reliable stopping power. Apply both brake levers simultaneously for optimal braking performance. Avoid sudden, hard braking, especially at high speeds.

6. Maintenance
Regular maintenance ensures the longevity and safe operation of your G-FORCE RS Electric Bike.
- Tires: Check tire pressure before each ride. Inspect tires for wear, cuts, or punctures.
- Brakes: Regularly check brake pads for wear and brake levers for proper tension. Ensure hydraulic lines are free from leaks.
- Chain: Keep the chain clean and lubricated to prevent rust and ensure smooth shifting.
- Battery Care:
- Charge the battery fully before the first use.
- Do not fully discharge the battery. Recharge after each ride.
- Store the battery in a cool, dry place when not in use.
- If storing for extended periods, charge the battery to 50-70% every 2-3 months.
- General Cleaning: Clean the bike regularly with a damp cloth. Avoid high-pressure washing directly on electrical components.
- Fasteners: Periodically check all bolts, nuts, and quick releases to ensure they are tight and secure.
7. Troubleshooting
Here are some common issues and their potential solutions:
| Problem | Possible Cause | Solution |
|---|---|---|
| Motor not engaging | Battery low or off; loose connection; brake lever engaged. | Check battery charge and ensure it's on; inspect all electrical connections; ensure brake levers are fully released. |
| Short battery range | Under-inflated tires; frequent use of throttle; riding uphill; heavy load. | Inflate tires to recommended PSI; use pedal assist more often; reduce load. |
| Brakes feel spongy | Air in hydraulic lines; worn brake pads. | Bleed hydraulic brakes (professional service recommended); replace brake pads. |
| Gears not shifting smoothly | Dirty or unlubricated chain; misaligned derailleur. | Clean and lubricate chain; adjust derailleur (refer to a bike mechanic if unsure). |
