2. Important Safety Information

5. Setup

5.1 Charging the Device

Before first use, fully charge the device. Connect the provided USB charging cable to the charging port on the main unit and to a standard USB power adapter (not included). The device has a built-in 2000mAh battery, providing approximately 4 hours of continuous operation on a full charge.

5.2 Attaching Accessories

Select the appropriate ear spoon or protective cap for your intended use. Gently attach it to the tip of the otoscope probe. Ensure it is securely fastened before use.

6. Operating Instructions

6.1 Powering On/Off

Long press the Power Button (5) on the main unit to turn the device on or off. The screen will illuminate when powered on.

6.2 Adjusting Brightness and Zoom

  • Use the Brightness Adjustment Button (1) to cycle through LED light intensities (100%, 80%, 60%, 0%).
  • Use the Screen Zoom Button (3) to adjust the magnification of the image on the screen (1X, 1.5X, 2X).

6.3 Taking Photos and Videos

While viewing, press the Photo-taking Button (2) to capture a still image. The device also supports real-time video recording. Captured media can be reviewed in the Album (4).

6.4 General Usage Guidelines

  • Ear Inspection: Carefully insert the probe into the ear canal. Use the screen to guide your movements. The 3.9mm diameter probe is designed for safe entry.
  • Ear Wax Removal: If using an ear spoon, gently maneuver it to scoop out visible ear wax. Avoid pushing wax deeper into the ear canal.
  • Other Applications: The device can also be used for visual inspection of the mouth, nose, and skin.

7. Maintenance and Cleaning

7.1 Cleaning the Probe and Accessories

The otoscope probe is IP67 waterproof, allowing for direct rinsing under water. The removable ear spoons and protective caps should be cleaned thoroughly with mild soap and water or an alcohol wipe before and after each use. Ensure all accessories are completely dry before storage or re-attachment.

Caution: When cleaning the camera lens area, use a soft, lint-free cloth. Avoid abrasive materials or excessive force, as this can scratch or damage the lens, leading to blurry images. Do not use strong chemical solvents directly on the lens.

7.2 Cleaning the Main Unit

Wipe the main screen unit with a soft, dry cloth. Do not use water or cleaning solutions directly on the screen or buttons, as the main unit is not waterproof.

8. Troubleshooting

  • Device does not turn on: Ensure the device is fully charged. Connect it to a power source and try again.
  • Image is blurry or unclear:
    • Check if the camera lens is clean. Gently wipe it with a soft, dry cloth.
    • Adjust the screen zoom using the appropriate button.
    • Ensure there is adequate lighting; adjust the LED brightness if necessary.
  • No image on screen: Ensure the probe cable is securely connected to the main unit.
  • Device not charging: Verify that the USB cable is properly connected to both the device and the power adapter. Try a different USB cable or power adapter.
  • No Wi-Fi or App connection: This device is designed for standalone operation and does not require Wi-Fi or a mobile application.
