Setup

Unpacking

Carefully remove all components from the packaging. Inspect for any damage. Ensure all items listed in the package contents are present.

Initial Battery Charge

Before first use, fully charge the battery. Connect the 4.0A Fast Charger to a standard power outlet. Slide the Mellif 20V 4.0Ah battery onto the charger until it clicks into place. The charger's indicator light will show the charging status. A full charge typically takes 60 minutes or less.

Operating Instructions

Attaching/Detaching Battery to Tool

To attach the battery, align the battery with the tool's battery port and slide it in until it clicks securely. To detach, press the battery release button (typically located on the battery itself) and slide the battery off the tool.

Checking Battery Charge Level

Press the LED indicator button on the battery to view the current charge level. The illuminated LEDs indicate the remaining power.

Charging External Devices (USB Output)

The Mellif 20V 4.0Ah battery includes USB-A and USB-C output ports. Open the protective flap on the battery to access these ports. Connect your USB-powered device (e.g., smartphone, tablet) to the appropriate port to charge it using the battery's power.

Maintenance

General Care

Keep the battery and charger clean and dry. Wipe with a soft, dry cloth. Do not use solvents or harsh chemicals. Regularly inspect for any signs of damage or wear.

Storage

Store the battery in a cool, dry place away from direct sunlight and extreme temperatures. For long-term storage, ensure the battery is partially charged (around 50%).

Extreme Conditions

The battery is designed to be extreme weather and shock resistant, operating effectively in temperatures as low as -4°F (-20°C). However, prolonged exposure to extreme conditions should be avoided to maximize battery life.
