4. Assembly Instructions

Assembly typically requires two people. Follow the steps below. For visual assistance, refer to the provided assembly video, which demonstrates the general process for a similar water rower model.

1. Install the Rollers: Attach the transport rollers to the front stabilizer of the main frame using the provided screws and tools. Ensure they are securely fastened.
2. Install the Footrests: Secure the footrests to the main frame. These provide stability and protect the floor.
3. Assemble the Rail Sections: Connect the left and right sliding rail sections using the connecting component. Do not fully tighten screws at this stage.
4. Install the Rear Connection Plate: Attach the rear connection plate to the assembled rail sections.

5.1 Getting Started

1. Foot Placement: Place your feet on the footplates and secure them with the adjustable straps.
2. Grip the Handle: Grasp the rowing handle with both hands, palms down.
3. Rowing Motion: Push off with your legs, then lean back slightly, and finally pull the handle towards your abdomen. Reverse the motion smoothly to return to the starting position.

5.2 Adjusting Resistance

The MERACH R23 uses water resistance, which naturally adjusts to your effort. For a more intense workout, you can increase the water level in the tank (up to 15L capacity). For less intensity, reduce the water level. Use the provided pump and funnel for adding or removing water.
