1. Introduction

The Kiprim LD70E Laser Distance Meter is a precise and versatile tool designed for accurate measurements in various applications. 4.1 Battery Installation

• Power On: Press the READ button once to activate the laser.
• Power Off: Press and hold the OFF / CLEAR button for a few seconds. The device will also automatically power off after 150 seconds of inactivity to save battery.

• When the device is on, long press the Reference Point / Unit Switch button.
• The unit displayed on the screen will change. Cycle through the available units until your desired unit is selected.

The device can measure from the front or rear edge. To change the reference point:

• When the device is on, short press the Reference Point / Unit Switch button.
• An icon on the display will indicate whether the measurement is taken from the front or rear of the device.

5. Operating Instructions

5.1 Single Distance Measurement

1. Press the READ button once to activate the laser.
2. Aim the laser dot at the target point.
3. Press the READ button again to take the measurement. The result will be displayed on the screen.

5.2 Continuous Measurement (Tracking)

1. Press the Function/Mode button until the continuous measurement icon appears (often a running person or similar).
2. Press the READ button. The device will continuously measure and display the current distance as you move it.
3. Press READ again to stop continuous measurement.

5.3 Area Measurement

1. Press the Function/Mode button until the area measurement icon (a square) appears.
2. Measure the first side (e.g., length) by pressing READ.
3. Measure the second side (e.g., width) by pressing READ.
4. The device will automatically calculate and display the area.

5.4 Volume Measurement

2. Press the Addition & Subtraction / Sound button. A "+" or "-" sign will appear.
3. Take another measurement.

5.7 Data Storage and Recall

The LD70E can store up to 99 sets of measurement data.

• Measurements are automatically stored.
• To recall stored data, press the Function/Mode button repeatedly until the memory icon appears.
