Operating Instructions

General Blending:

  1. Ensure the blender is assembled correctly and the jar/cup is securely placed on the motor base.
  2. Plug the blender into a standard electrical outlet.
  3. Turn the control dial to your desired speed setting (1 or 2) or use the Pulse function.
  4. Once blending is complete, turn the dial to '0' (off) and unplug the appliance.
  5. Carefully remove the jar/cup from the motor base.

Speed Settings:

Blender control dial with Pulse, Speed 1, and Speed 2 settings

Figure 3: The control dial allows for precise speed adjustment.

  • P (Pulse): Provides short bursts of power. Ideal for crushing ice, chopping hard ingredients, or when you need quick control over consistency. Hold the dial at 'P' for desired duration.
  • 1 (Gentle): A lower speed setting suitable for soft fruits, vegetables, and liquids. Use for light mixing or creating smooth purees.
  • 2 (Strong): A higher speed setting for harder fruits, vegetables, and more demanding blending tasks. Use for tougher ingredients or achieving a very fine consistency.

Blending Tips:

  • Always add liquids first, then soft ingredients, and finally harder or frozen ingredients.
  • Do not overfill the jar/cup. Ensure ingredients are below the MAX fill line.
  • If ingredients stick to the sides, turn off the blender, remove the jar, and gently shake or use a spatula to push ingredients towards the blades. Never use utensils while the blender is running.
  • For best results with ice crushing, use the Pulse function.

Cleaning and Maintenance

Proper cleaning ensures the longevity and hygiene of your blender.

Easy Cleaning:

  • The blade assemblies detach effortlessly from both the glass pitcher and the To-Go cup.
  • All removable parts (glass jar, To-Go cup, lids, blade assemblies) are dishwasher safe.

Manual Cleaning:

  1. Unplug the blender from the power outlet.
  2. Remove the jar/cup and detach the blade assembly by twisting counter-clockwise.
  3. Wash the jar/cup, lid, and blade assembly with warm, soapy water. Use a brush for thorough cleaning around the blades, exercising caution as blades are sharp.
  4. Rinse all parts thoroughly and allow them to air dry completely before reassembling or storing.
  5. Wipe the motor base with a damp cloth. Never immerse the motor base in water or any other liquid.

Storage:

Store the blender in a dry, clean place. Ensure all parts are dry before storage to prevent mold or mildew.
