Assembling the Vacuum Cleaner

The Deerma T30 offers flexible assembly options to suit various cleaning needs. Follow these steps to assemble your vacuum:

1. Main Unit and Extension Hose: Insert the adjustable length extension pipe into the main unit until it clicks securely into place.
2. Attaching Brush Roll/Tools:
   • For floor cleaning, attach the brush roll head to the end of the extension hose. Ensure it clicks into place.
   • Alternatively, for specialized cleaning, you can directly attach the 2-in-1 crevice tool or the hair screw tool to the main unit or the extension hose.
3. Changing Attachments: To change attachments, press the release button on the extension hose or the tool itself and pull to detach. Then, attach the desired tool until it clicks.

Installing the Storage Bracket

To conveniently store your Deerma T30, use the included wall-mounted hanger:

1. Prepare the Hanger: Take out the adhesive pad, peel off the protective film, and stick it onto the hanger.
2. Mounting: Place the hanger onto the handle of the vacuum cleaner and position it upright against the wall. Ensure the body of the vacuum cleaner is perpendicular to the ground, then fix the hanger tightly against the wall. For added security, you can align the hanger with the provided screws and wall anchors and drive two screws into them.

Before Use and Charging

Before using your Deerma T30 for the first time, it is recommended to fully charge the device.

• Connect Charger: Insert the power adapter into the charging port on the main unit.
• Plug In: Connect the power adapter to a power outlet to begin charging.
• Charging Indicator: The power indicator light will stay on constantly in white until fully charged, then it will go out. Note: The vacuum cleaner cannot operate while being charged.

Operating Instructions

Power On/Off and Mode Selection

• Power On: Press the power button for 1 second to turn on the device. The standard mode is enabled by default.
• Adjust Suction Power: Briefly press the "MAX" button to adjust the gear. When the white indicator light stays on constantly, it means that it has been switched to the powerful mode. Click it again to switch back to the standard mode.
• Power Off: Press the power button again to turn off the device.

Adjusting Extension Hose Length

• Press the red button on the extension hose to adjust its length for comfortable use.

Brush Roll Air Valve Adjustment

The brush roll features an adjustable air valve to optimize cleaning for different surfaces:

• Right Position: When the air valve switch is set to the right, it is suitable for picking up soybean-size items and is easy to push on carpet.
• Middle Position: When the air valve switch is set to the middle, it is suitable for handling objects the size of rice grains.
• Left Position: When the air valve switch is set to the left, it is suitable for handling objects the size of dust particles.

Effective Pet Hair Removal

For effective pet hair removal from couches and beds, utilize the specialized hair screw tool. Its design helps prevent tangling and efficiently lifts pet hair.

Cleaning and Maintenance

Regular cleaning and maintenance ensure optimal performance and longevity of your Deerma T30 vacuum cleaner.

Emptying the Dust Cup

• After each use, or when the dust cup is full, take out the extension hose and the brush roll.
• Hold the main unit over a trash bin. Press the release button on the bottom cover of the dust cup to open it and pour out the garbage.
• Close the bottom cover of the dust cup securely.

Cleaning Dust Cup Components and Filters

When you notice weakened suction power, it's time to clean the dust cup components and filters:

• Remove Dust Cup: Press the dust cup release button, pull the dust cup forward, and then lift it upward to remove it from the main unit.
• Disassemble Filters: Take out the cyclone tower, then remove the filter element and composite cotton.
• Rinse: Clean the dust cup, cyclone tower, filter element, and composite cotton with tap water. It is recommended to clean them once a month.
• Dry Thoroughly: After cleaning, ensure all components are thoroughly dried before reassembling them. Replace components every 6-12 months for best performance.
• Reassemble: Put the composite cotton and the filter element back in sequence, aligning it with the bayonet mount. Push the dust cup into the body of the machine and lock the locking buckle.

Cleaning the Brush Roll

• If you need to clean the brush roll, press the side cover of the roller brush with your fingers and rotate it downward to open the side cover. Take out the roller brush.
• Clean any dust or tangled hair on the roller brush with a clean rag.
• Then put the roller brush back into the groove and tighten the side cover.

Cleaning the 2-in-1 Crevice Tool

• The 2-in-1 crevice tool can be rinsed with water. After rinsing, it needs to be completely dried before re-use.
• Important Note: Please do not use alcohol, paint thinner, or other chemical solvents, which may cause the machine casing to crack or fade.
