Setup

1. Initial Charging:

2. Placement:

• Place the scale on a flat, stable, and level surface to ensure accurate readings.

Operating Instructions

1. Power On/Off:

• Slide the physical ON/OFF switch on the side to the 'ON' position.
• Press the 'ZERO/POWER' button to turn the display on.
• To turn off the display, press and hold the 'ZERO/POWER' button for approximately 3 seconds.
• To completely power off the device, slide the physical ON/OFF switch to the 'OFF' position.

2. Unit Conversion (g/oz/ml):

• With the scale on, press the 'UNIT' button to cycle through the available units: grams (g), ounces (oz), and milliliters (ml).

3. Tare Function:

• Place an empty container on the weighing platform.
• Press the 'ZERO/POWER' button briefly to reset the display to zero. This will subtract the weight of the container.
• You can now add ingredients to the container, and only their weight will be displayed.

4. Timer Modes (Automatic/Manual):

The scale offers two timing modes for precise brewing control.

• Manual Timing:
  1. Place your coffee vessel on the scale and tare the weight.
  2. Press the 'TIMER' button once to start the timer.
  3. Press the 'TIMER' button again to pause/resume the timer.
  4. Press and hold the 'TIMER' button to reset the timer.
• Automatic Timing:
  1. Ensure the scale is tared with your empty coffee vessel.
  2. Press the 'TIMER' button twice quickly to activate automatic timing mode. The timer will start automatically when weight is detected (e.g., when you start pouring water or brewing espresso).
  3. The timer will pause/stop when the weight stabilizes or is removed.
  4. Press and hold the 'TIMER' button to reset the timer.

5. Silent Mode:

• To disable the beep sound, press and hold both the 'TIMER' and 'ZERO/POWER' buttons simultaneously for approximately 2 seconds. Repeat the action to re-enable the sound.

6. Auto-Sleep Function:

• The scale will automatically enter sleep mode after 5 minutes of inactivity to conserve battery life. Press any button to wake it up.

Maintenance

1. Cleaning:

• Wipe the scale surface with a soft, damp cloth. Do not use abrasive cleaners or immerse the scale in water.
• The silicone pad is removable and can be washed with mild soap and water. Ensure it is completely dry before placing it back on the scale.
