3. Package Contents

4. Setup

4.1 Charging the Device

Before initial use, fully charge the BSIDE O7 using the provided USB Type-C charging cable. Connect the cable to the device's charging port and a standard USB power adapter (not included). The charging indicator will show the charging status. A full charge provides approximately 10 hours of continuous oscilloscope operation or up to 20 hours in multimeter mode.

4.2 Power On/Off

Press and hold the power button (usually marked with a ⑂ symbol) for a few seconds to turn the device on or off. The device will boot up and display the main interface.

4.3 Initial Mode Selection

Upon powering on, the device typically defaults to the last used mode or a pre-set mode. Use the dedicated mode buttons or navigation controls to switch between Oscilloscope, Multimeter, and Signal Generator functions.

5. Operating Instructions

5.1 Oscilloscope Mode

The oscilloscope function allows for the visualization and analysis of electrical signals.

To operate:

  1. Connect the BNC oscilloscope probe to the CH1 or CH2 input.
  2. Attach the probe to the circuit point you wish to measure.
  3. Adjust the vertical sensitivity (Volts/Div) and horizontal time base (Time/Div) to properly display the waveform.
  4. Use the trigger settings to stabilize the waveform on the screen.
  5. Utilize the automatic measurement functions for quick parameter readings.

5.2 Multimeter Mode

The multimeter function provides accurate digital measurements for various electrical parameters.

To operate:

  1. Connect the multimeter test leads to the appropriate input jacks (COM, VΩmA, or 6000A for Rogowski coil).
  2. Select the desired measurement function (e.g., DCV, ACV, Resistance) using the mode button.
  3. Apply the test leads to the circuit or component under test.
  4. Read the measurement value on the display.

5.3 Signal Generator Mode

The signal generator produces various waveforms for testing and calibration purposes.

To operate:

  1. Select the Signal Generator mode.
  2. Choose the desired waveform type.
  3. Adjust the frequency and amplitude using the device controls.
  4. Connect the BNC to alligator clip probe to the signal output port and to the circuit requiring the signal.

6. Maintenance

6.1 General Care

Keep the device clean and dry. Avoid exposure to extreme temperatures, humidity, or direct sunlight. The silicone case provides protection against minor impacts; however, avoid dropping the device.
