Operating Instructions
Opening the Safe
Your Omethey gun safe offers multiple methods for access:
- Code + Knob: Enter your programmed digital code on the keypad, then turn the knob to open the door.
- Key + Knob: In case of battery failure or forgotten code, insert the emergency key into the hidden keyhole, turn it, and simultaneously turn the knob to open.
- USB Cable + Code + Knob: If batteries are depleted and you don't have the emergency key, connect a USB power source to the emergency power jack, enter your code, and turn the knob.

Setting/Changing Digital Code
Refer to the specific instructions in the included manual for programming your personal digital code. Typically, this involves pressing a reset button (often inside the door), entering your new code, and confirming it.
Alarm System
The safe is equipped with a dual vibration and input error alarm system. If the wrong code is entered 3 times consecutively, the system will lock, and the keypad will be disabled for a period to prevent unauthorized entries. Any significant vibration or tampering may also trigger the alarm.
Silent Mode
To enable silent mode for discreet access, refer to your specific manual for the key combination or button press. This mode disables keypad beeps and alarm sounds, ensuring quiet operation.

Maintenance
Battery Replacement
Replace batteries annually or when the low battery indicator appears. Always use new, high-quality batteries of the specified type. Do not mix old and new batteries.
Cleaning
Clean the exterior of the safe with a soft, damp cloth. Avoid abrasive cleaners or solvents that could damage the finish or electronic components. Keep the keypad free of dust and debris.
Locking Mechanism Check
Periodically check the locking bolts and door hinges for smooth operation. Ensure no obstructions prevent the door from closing and locking completely.
Troubleshooting
- Keypad Not Responding: Check battery levels and replace if necessary. Ensure the USB power cable is securely connected if using external power.
- Forgotten Code: Use the emergency key to open the safe. Once open, refer to the manual to reset your digital code.
- Alarm Triggering Unexpectedly: Check for loose items inside the safe that might cause vibrations. Ensure the safe is securely mounted and not subject to external impacts.
- Door Not Closing/Locking: Inspect for any obstructions around the door frame or locking bolts. Ensure the safe is on a level surface.
