Important Safety Precautions:

  • This mask is designed for surface use only. It is not intended for freediving or scuba diving.
  • Always snorkel with a buddy.
  • Ensure the mask fits securely and comfortably to prevent water entry.
  • The advanced breathing system is designed to minimize CO2 stagnation. However, always monitor your breathing and ascend if you feel any discomfort.
  • Do not use if any part of the mask is damaged.
  • Avoid snorkeling in strong currents or adverse weather conditions.

3. Components and Features

The Cressi Bali Full Face Snorkeling Mask is comprised of several key components designed for optimal performance and comfort:

  • 100% Silicone Skirt: Ensures a comfortable and tight seal against the face.
  • Dry Snorkel with Float Valve: Prevents water from entering the snorkel tube.
  • Advanced Breathing System: Channels exhaled air away from fresh air intake to minimize CO2 buildup and prevent fogging.
  • Adjustable X-Cross Straps: For a secure and customizable fit.

Proper fitting is crucial for comfort and to prevent water leakage.

  1. Choose the Correct Size: Refer to the size conversion chart below to select the appropriate mask size based on the distance from the bridge of your nose to the bottom of your chin.

  2. Attach the Snorkel: If detached for storage, firmly attach the foldable snorkel to the top of the mask until it clicks into place.
  3. Position the Mask: Place the mask on your face, ensuring your chin is comfortably seated in the bottom silicone skirt.
  4. Adjust the Straps: Pull the adjustable x-cross straps over your head. Tighten the straps evenly by pulling the ends until the mask feels snug against your face without being overly tight. The silicone skirt should create a complete seal around your face.
  5. Check the Seal: Inhale gently. The mask should suction to your face. If air leaks in, readjust the straps or the mask's position.

5. Operating Instructions

Once the mask is properly fitted, you are ready to begin your snorkeling experience.

  1. Breathing: Breathe naturally through your nose and mouth. The dry snorkel and advanced breathing system will manage airflow, preventing water entry and minimizing fogging.
  2. Surface Use: Remember, this mask is designed for surface snorkeling. While the dry snorkel prevents water entry when submerged briefly, prolonged submersion is not recommended.
  3. Clearing Water: If a small amount of water enters the mask, simply lift your head out of the water and exhale forcefully. The front-mounted water-draining valve will purge the water.
  4. Action Camera Usage: To attach an action camera, slide it onto the integrated mount on the snorkel. Ensure it is securely fastened before entering the water.

6. Maintenance

Proper maintenance will extend the life of your Cressi Bali mask.

  • Rinsing: After each use, rinse the mask thoroughly with fresh, clean water to remove salt, sand, and chlorine.
  • Cleaning: Use a mild soap and soft cloth to clean the lens and silicone skirt. Avoid abrasive cleaners or brushes that could scratch the lens or damage the silicone.
  • Drying: Allow the mask to air dry completely in a shaded area, away from direct sunlight, before storing.
  • Storage: Store the mask in a cool, dry place. The snorkel can be detached and folded for compact storage. Keep it away from sharp objects that could puncture the silicone.
