4. Operating Instructions

4.1. Cooking Boiled Eggs (Soft, Medium, Hard)

  1. Pierce Eggs: Use the egg piercer located at the bottom of the measuring cup to gently pierce the large end of each egg. This helps prevent cracking during cooking.
  2. Add Water: Fill the measuring cup with cold water according to the desired egg consistency (Soft, Medium, or Hard) and the number of eggs you are cooking. Pour the water directly onto the heating plate of the base unit.
  3. Place Eggs: Place the egg holder onto the base unit. Carefully place the pierced eggs onto the egg holder, with the pierced end facing upwards.
  4. Cover: Place the transparent lid over the egg holder and base unit.
  5. Select Setting: Turn the control dial to your desired egg consistency (Soft, Medium, or Hard). The appliance will automatically start heating.
  6. Cooking Complete: The appliance will automatically shut off and emit an audible signal when the water has evaporated and the eggs are cooked.
  7. Remove Eggs: Carefully remove the lid (use oven mitts as steam will be hot). Use the egg holder to transfer the eggs to a bowl of cold water to stop the cooking process and make them easier to peel.

  3. Place Poaching Cups: Place the egg holder onto the base unit. Then, place the filled poaching cups into the designated slots on the egg holder.
  4. Cover: Place the transparent lid over the egg holder and base unit.
