Installation
Before You Begin
- Ensure the vehicle is turned off and the battery is disconnected to prevent electrical shock.

Step-by-Step Installation
- Remove the Original Dashboard Components: Carefully use the provided pry tools to remove the air vent cover above the original radio. Then, remove the center console covers around the gear shifter.
- Access and Remove the Original Radio: Locate and remove the screws securing the original radio. Gently pull out the radio unit.
- Transfer Climate Control Panel: Detach the climate control panel from the original radio unit. This panel will be reattached to the new Fortdows unit.
- Mount the New Unit: Secure the climate control panel to the new Fortdows car stereo unit. Attach the metal brackets from the original radio to the sides of the new unit using the appropriate bolts.
- Connect Wiring Harnesses: Connect the main power cable (with Canbus decoder if applicable) to the vehicle's wiring harness. Connect the 6-pin USB cable, 4-pin USB cable, 10-pin rear camera signal wire, 4G antenna, GPS antenna, and radio antenna to their respective ports on the back of the new unit. Ensure all connections are secure.
- Route External Cables: Route the microphone cable along the dashboard and up the A-pillar for optimal voice pickup. Route any additional USB cables to a convenient location, such as the glove compartment or center console.
