  3. Fan Speed: Press the Fan Speed button to select between High and Low fan speeds.
  4. Operating Modes: Press the 'M' (Mode) button to select different operating modes:
    • Auto Mode: The unit automatically adjusts operation based on the ambient humidity.

  5. Timer Function: Press the Timer button to set a 24-hour timer for automatic power on or off. Each press increases the timer by one hour.

WiFi Connectivity (Tuya App)

The H.Koenig DSH520 features WiFi connectivity, allowing remote control via the Tuya Smart app.

  1. Download App: Download the "Tuya Smart" app from your smartphone's app store.
  2. Register/Login: Create an account or log in to the Tuya Smart app.
  3. Enable Pairing Mode: With the dehumidifier powered on, press and hold the Humidity Setting (%) button for approximately 3 seconds until the WiFi indicator light flashes rapidly. This indicates pairing mode.
  4. Add Device in App: In the Tuya Smart app, tap "Add Device" or the "+" icon. Select "Dehumidifier" or "Small Home Appliance" and follow the on-screen instructions to connect to your home WiFi network (2.4GHz only).
  5. Control: Once connected, you can control the dehumidifier's functions (power, mode, humidity, fan speed, timer) remotely via the app.

Note: If you experience difficulty connecting to WiFi, ensure your router is broadcasting a 2.4GHz signal and that the dehumidifier is within range. Some user feedback suggests pressing the humidity button for 3 seconds while the unit is in standby might also initiate pairing mode.

Continuous Drainage

For extended operation without needing to empty the water tank, you can set up continuous drainage.

A clogged filter reduces efficiency. Clean the filter every two weeks or more frequently if used in dusty environments.

  1. Turn off and unplug the dehumidifier.
  2. Locate the air filter (usually at the back or side, behind a removable grille).
  3. Remove the filter.
