WiFi Connectivity (Tuya App)

- Download App: Download the "Tuya Smart" app from your smartphone's app store.
- Register/Login: Create an account or log in to the Tuya Smart app.
- Enable Pairing Mode: With the dehumidifier powered on, press and hold the Humidity Setting (%) button for approximately 3 seconds until the WiFi indicator light flashes rapidly. This indicates pairing mode.
- Add Device in App: In the Tuya Smart app, tap "Add Device" or the "+" icon. Select "Dehumidifier" or "Small Home Appliance" and follow the on-screen instructions to connect to your home WiFi network (2.4GHz only).
- Control: Once connected, you can control the dehumidifier's functions (power, mode, humidity, fan speed, timer) remotely via the app.
Note: If you experience difficulty connecting to WiFi, ensure your router is broadcasting a 2.4GHz signal and that the dehumidifier is within range. Some user feedback suggests pressing the humidity button for 3 seconds while the unit is in standby might also initiate pairing mode.
Continuous Drainage
For extended operation without needing to empty the water tank, you can set up continuous drainage.
- Locate the continuous drainage outlet on the side of the unit (refer to Figure 3).
- Connect a suitable drainage hose (not included) to this outlet.
- Ensure the hose is sloped downwards to allow gravity drainage into a floor drain or larger container.
Maintenance
Regular maintenance ensures optimal performance and extends the lifespan of your dehumidifier.
Emptying the Water Tank
- When the water tank is full, the unit will automatically stop operating and an indicator light will illuminate.
- Carefully pull out the water tank from the front of the unit (refer to Figure 4).
- Empty the collected water.
- Reinsert the water tank firmly into the unit. Ensure it clicks into place. The unit will resume operation.
Cleaning the Air Filter
A clogged filter reduces efficiency. Clean the filter every two weeks or more frequently if used in dusty environments.
- Turn off and unplug the dehumidifier.
- Locate the air filter (usually at the back or side, behind a removable grille).
- Remove the filter.
- Clean the filter with a vacuum cleaner or wash it gently with warm, soapy water. Rinse thoroughly and allow it to air dry completely before reinserting.
- Reinstall the dry filter and close the grille.
Cleaning the Unit Exterior
- Wipe the exterior with a soft, damp cloth. Do not use abrasive cleaners or solvents.
- Ensure no water enters the electrical components.
Storage
If storing the unit for an extended period:
- Empty and clean the water tank.
- Clean the air filter.
- Unplug the unit and coil the power cord neatly.
- Store the unit upright in a cool, dry place, preferably in its original packaging.
