Setup

1. Initial Charge: Before first use, fully charge the bottle's cap using the provided USB-C cable. Connect the cable to the USB-C port on the cap and a compatible power source. The indicator light will show charging status.
2. Download the LARQ App: Search for 'LARQ' in your device's App Store or Google Play. Download and install the application.
3. Pair with App: Follow the in-app instructions to pair your LARQ Bottle PureVis 2 with your smartphone. This enables hydration tracking and advanced settings.
4. Install Filter: If using the filter straw, ensure it is securely attached to the cap according to the instructions provided with the filter.
5. First Rinse: Before filling with water, perform an initial rinse of the bottle and cap with warm, soapy water. Rinse thoroughly with clean water.

Operating Instructions

1. Filling the Bottle: Unscrew the cap and fill the bottle with potable water. Do not overfill.
2. Activating PureVis™: The PureVis™ UV-C LED purification system activates automatically every 2 hours to keep your water and bottle clean. To manually activate, press the button on the top of the cap. The light ring will illuminate to indicate purification is in progress.
3. Using the Filter Straw: If you have installed the Essential Bottle Filter, simply sip from the straw to filter water as you drink.
4. Hydration Tracking: After filling the bottle and screwing on the cap, place the bottle on a flat surface. The cap will glow a white light, indicating that a hydration measurement has been taken. This may take up to 5 seconds. Your water intake will be recorded in the LARQ app.

Cleaning the Bottle

• Regular Rinse: We recommend giving your PureVis 2 bottle a warm and soapy rinse every one to two weeks. This is especially important for the mouth area where the UV technology does not directly reach.
• Monthly Deep Clean: It is also a good idea to wash the entire LARQ bottle with warm and soapy water once a month for a quick reset and thorough cleaning.
• Hand Wash Only: The LARQ Bottle PureVis 2 is not dishwasher safe. Please hand wash all components.

Filter Replacement

The Essential Bottle Filter should be replaced every 40 gallons (approximately 151 liters) or about every 2 months, whichever comes first. Replacement filters can be purchased from the official LARQ website or authorized retailers.

Troubleshooting

• App Connectivity/Tracking Issues:
