1. Introduction

The JXTZ Bluetooth Transmitter Receiver (Model BR08) is a versatile 2-in-1 audio adapter designed to add Bluetooth capabilities to non-Bluetooth devices. It functions as both a Bluetooth transmitter (TX mode) and a Bluetooth receiver (RX mode), allowing for wireless audio streaming in various scenarios, including car audio systems, home stereos, TVs, and portable devices.

This manual provides detailed instructions for the proper setup, operation, and maintenance of your device.

1. Bluetooth 1 Indicator: Shows connection status for the first paired device.

4. Setup and Operation

4.1 Charging the Device

Before initial use, fully charge the device. The adapter can be used while charging.

4.2 Power On/Off

• To Power On: Long press the Multifunction button until the indicator lights illuminate.
• To Power Off: Long press the Multifunction button until the indicator lights turn off.

Use the RX/TX Mode Switch Button on the side of the device to select the desired operating mode.

4.4 Receiver (RX) Mode

1. Switch the RX/TX button to the RX position.
2. Plug the 3.5mm AUX connector of the adapter into the AUX input of your car stereo, wired speaker, or headphones.

7. Hands-Free Calling: When connected to a smartphone, use the Multifunction button to answer/hang up calls. The built-in microphone allows for hands-free communication.

4.5 Transmitter (TX) Mode

In TX mode, the adapter transmits audio wirelessly from a non-Bluetooth audio source (e.g., TV, PC, airplane entertainment system) to a Bluetooth-enabled receiving device (e.g., Bluetooth headphones, Bluetooth speaker).

1. Switch the RX/TX button to the TX position.
2. Plug the 3.5mm AUX connector of the adapter into the audio output jack of your non-Bluetooth device (e.g., TV, desktop computer, airplane entertainment system).

• No audio or poor audio quality:
  • Check if the 3.5mm AUX cable is securely connected to both the adapter and the audio source/receiver.
  • Ensure the volume on both the adapter and the connected audio device is turned up.
  • Verify that the adapter is successfully paired and connected (solid indicator light).
  • If using in TX mode, ensure the audio source is playing sound through its 3.5mm output.
  • If using in RX mode, ensure the connected speaker/car stereo is set to the correct AUX input.
• Dual pairing issues: When connecting two devices, ensure the first device is paused or disconnected before attempting to pair the second. Reconnect the first device after the second is paired.
