1. Introduction

The SMALLRIG RF10C RGB LED Photography Flashlight is a versatile and compact lighting tool designed for content creators and photographers. It features 4-color LED beads (sunset orange, blue, white, and red) and comes with 20 patterned light filters, allowing for a wide range of atmospheric projection effects. 3. Setup

3.1 Charging the Device

Before first use, fully charge the RF10C using the provided USB-C charging cable. The built-in 7500mAh lithium battery provides approximately 3 hours of continuous full-power lighting once fully charged.

3.2 Attaching Filters and Gobos

The RF10C comes with 20 patterned light filters (gobos) and a silicone bracket. Insert the desired filter into the silicone bracket, then attach the bracket to the front of the flashlight. This allows for various atmospheric projection effects.

3.3 Mounting Options

The RF10C is equipped with three 1/4"-20 threaded holes on its side and rear. These versatile mounting points allow for flexible positioning on tripods, light stands, or other compatible accessories, catering to diverse shooting scenarios.

4. Operating Instructions

4.1 Power On/Off and Basic Controls

To power on the device, rotate the control button half a turn within one second. To turn off, press and hold the button for 2 seconds. The control button also allows for color changes and brightness adjustments.

• Short Press: Change color (Sunset Orange, Blue, White, Red).
• Press and Hold (2s): Turn off.
• Rotate: Adjust brightness.

4.2 Adjusting Beam Zoom

The RF10C features a convex mirror with a front push-pull design for precise beam control. Extend the front to narrow the beam (zoom in) or retract it to diffuse the beam (zoom out). The adjustable zoom angle is approximately 10° to 60°.

4.3 Utilizing Patterned Light Filters (Gobos)

With 20 included light filters, you can project various patterns to create unique ambient lighting or background effects. Experiment with different patterns and colors to enhance your photography and content creation.

6. Maintenance

• Cleaning: Use a soft, dry cloth to clean the exterior of the flashlight. For the lens and LED surface, use a lens cleaning cloth and solution designed for optical surfaces. Avoid abrasive materials or harsh chemicals.
• Battery Care: To prolong battery life, avoid fully discharging the battery frequently. Charge the device regularly, even if not in use, to maintain battery health. Store in a cool, dry place.
• Storage: When not in use for extended periods, store the RF10C in its provided carry bag to protect it from dust and physical damage.

• Device Not Turning On:
  • Ensure the battery is charged. Connect to a USB-C power source and check the charging indicator.
  • Verify the power-on procedure: rotate the button half a turn within one second.
• Light Not Changing Color/Brightness:
  • Ensure the device is powered on.
  • For color change, short press the control button.
  • For brightness adjustment, rotate the control button.
• Projected Pattern is Blurry:
  • Adjust the beam zoom by pushing or pulling the front of the flashlight to achieve desired focus.
  • Ensure the filter is correctly seated in the silicone bracket and the bracket is properly attached.
